So- by now you would have figured to stay in District 1 if your travelling to Saigon. And i've figured that it's critical to have helpful and affectionate people around who understand (and speak) English when in Saigon (read vietnam). Hello House Hotel serves you just that. Harper and Sophie (these are their english names) were simply the best!! Both... More

Tucked down the end of a little lane way, Hello House is an oasis of calm and quiet in the midst of a bustling city. It is a little difficult to find first off, but it's location is what makes it so peaceful. Plus the wonderful staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. When you arrive, you are requested... The taxi driver from the airport struggled to find it. It turns out it is down the end of any alley from the main road but we found it eventually. As I walked down the alley there were backpacker hostels all the way down so I was really worried I had booked the wrong place, however I had a nice... More

This place was recomended by my aunt. So we decided to stay here for 1 month. Sounds strangly for a long- stay in a packbacker's area. In fact, It's hidden in a small alley which is lovely for Saigon. And we really loved the atmosphere, clean and safe. The way of the owner cared about us. They're reliable, friendly, smily... More

This place is simple, clean and amazing. It has everything you need from good breakfast to extremely clean and comfy room to lovely staff. It's the kind of place you want to take photos to remember. Location could not be better, it's in main area but also safe and quiet as it is down a ally way. Would defiantly stay... More

Located in a small backpacker alley so slightly away from the bustling streets of "foreigners" but still very close to main road, cafés, and bus station at District One. The room is clean and bright. The staffs are friendly. And you get free breakfast

Staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very secure. Our room was clean and comfortable, and our breakfast every morning was pretty good. Also, keep in mind what that while there were no critters INSIDE Hello House, there are plenty of critters in the alleys around it, so watch your step at night as you come and go.

We arrived late at night from the airport. Took a taxi (forgot to follow good advice to only use vinasun or mai linh) and the driver of course tried to charge us 10 times more than the meter and was quite argumentative. One of us walked down the alley to the hotel and the host assured us that the taxi... More
