For those with a limited budget and keen to see Saigon "veins of life" Mimi's backpackers is the place. Very clean and well located, the hostel is situated in an alley where you will feel like been in a movie or better in some sort of modern sommerset maughan's novel. Both owners are very nice and attentive people always trying...

The owner of this hostel is probably the nicest lady I met in Vietnam. She constantly went out of her way to help my partner and i. The hostel its self was cheap but very nice with comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms. Each room had ac and a TV. I stayed here on two separate occasions and would stay here...

My partner and I had the most amazing experience staying here. The owners/ family of the hostel were the most welcoming and sincere people who always went out of there way to make us feel comfortable during our stay. It's a cheap stay that's located in the heart of the backpackers district tucked away in a quite back alley away...

MiMi's is located on a back alley right in the heart of the backpacker area. MiMi and her family are lovely and very welcoming. We ended up staying here for a week in a double room, it was clean with hot showers and air con. Breakfast was simple but tasty, bread, eggs, cheese and a banana - really set you...

This is one of the best places I've stayed in my toe months of travel! It was like staying at a family members house. The staff was so nice and helpful and breakfast was great ! It was such a nice break from having to negotiate prices or get stuck with a crappy 'free breakfast '. I wish I could...

Stayed for 8 days in a twin bedroom on the 3rd floor. Clean, hot water, Aircon+Fan+Tv The family was extremely hospitable, everyone went out of their way to make you feel at home. We ended up just staying outside the guesthouse in small chairs drinking beer/chatting with Mimi or her brother in law and other backpackers staying there. This is...

Not only that it is a family run establishment - the family itself is quite a hospitable one. Members are most friendly and very much at your disposal on any matter. Free and delicious breakfast is served from the family kitchen - one of the best Phos I tasted in Vietnam. Don't be surprised if you are offered a free...

Very friendly people and very nice family. The take care of everything looking for your comfort. Free water all the time, free coffe, free internet. The give you chairs and you can seat on the street with a nice cup of tea, free! The rooms are just okey, but sometimes is better the amability and the nice staff!

The guesthouse is quite easy to find IF you head down the right alleyway - 84 hem Bui Vien will lead you straight to the guesthouse. The address given here isn't right. It's 84/40 Bui Vien. Alleyways are numbered from the street number they intersect, so the alleyway is next to 82 and 86 Bui Vien. Hem 84 continues through...
