Yes they are building the metro just across the road but I can honestly say we were not bothered by any extra noise from there, I think construction moves pretty slow, and as they are at the foundation level any rain at all stalls their work, defiantly not working at night when we were there. WI Fi was fine, we stayed x 2 visits on x 2 levels I think floors 6 and 7 and had no problems, we were all logged on x 4 people at the same time in room and no issues. Pool is on 1st floor lovely and clean and cool which was great as it was very hot outside in June/July
most of the time we were the only ones in it...Room request is possible, maybe upper levels 6,7,8,9, will lesson any noise, as I said in my review you must remember you are in Saigon, the middle of Saigon, but its accessible to everything.Good luck with the Dental work.
