This hotel has had some poor reviews, but I stayed there at the recommendation of a local. The location was great - the Ben Than markets were 2 minutes down the street (a quiet street too), but at night, more markets were set up outside. It was much better going to the night markets - the people on the stalls...

We stayed here for 2 nights 23/24 April 2009. We had 2 rooms as we were travelling as a family - one had a queen sized bed - room small but comfortable, nicely decorated and immaculately clean, only downfall was it was an internal room with no window - the other had twin beds - likewise clean and nicely decorated,...

We first booked this hotel and then I read a couple of the scathing reviews and so my expectations were very, very, very low. The front desk staff were ok. Nothing execptional, but not so hideous either. We had booked a Standard room for 40USD and it was good enough. Room was a little small, but in a city like...

Possibly the WORST hotel in the world. I do not know where to start. First we were greeted by the rudest receptionist I have ever come across who demanded to hold onto our passports for the duration of our stay. We were then welcomed by the slowest lift to take us to our bug infested room. Supposedly a deluxe room,...

This hotel is OK. It caters mainly to Asian (Chine/Korea) and often the lobby fills with these groups. Nothing about this hotel is ‘great’ - except the location next to the Ben Thanh Market. At night, the small street in front of the hotel is filled to capacity with street venders. Also, the hotel has WiFi: a great plus. The...

Seeing Asian guests walking up (their Reception area was one floor higher than ground floor), two ladies inside the counter were still talking to each other. We waited until their conversation finished and asked to view the rooms. They opened in about 2005 so rooms and facilities were still quite new. Their Luxury and Suite rooms were very beautiful but...
