We stayed here for 5 days. We think it is a good budgethotel in a nabaor that has a lot of them. (Both in the same street and in the small alleys around) The room was ok and well cleaned. The air-c was well working. The shower had good water pressure and went really hot if you wanted to. The...

We got a room at the fifth floor at the left side. It really smelled and the bathroom was wet all the time. There was a pipe coming out of the wall, which drupped water. This smell was awfull. The beds and room was okay.

Nice enough staff, linen clean, room shabby. Don't forget your soap and shampoo as there is absolutely nothing in the room, even toilet roll is sparse. We didn't fly till early evening and we were promised a room to shower and access to toilet and shower. This was not the case. Had we not been offered it would not have...

Based on our experience, we think people who are new to Saigon and don't mind basic lodging would love this place. The highlights include a wonderful breakfast (included), location right at the backpacker area, and very happy and helpful staff. The rooms have a small refrigerator and a sizeable bed. But, if you are not a backpacker or travelling light,...

We had a good stay at this hotel. It feels family-run, Elly and the rest of the staff make you feel at home. They are all very friendly and Elly speaks good English. Breakfast is good, with pancakes or eggs and bread. We had a large room on the streetside, which is noisy in the weekends due to all the...

Rooms were very basic if not a little shabby. From all the excellent reviews I expected more. Basic rooms don't usually bother me but little things put us off - they only give you a thin sheet to sleep in at night. There were no bathroom amenities not even a bar of soap. TV remote not working. Scratching rat in...

I stayed at Madam Cuc's for about two weeks back in August and found it to be excellent, especially considering the cost. The staff was very friendly and helpful and was able to help when I hurt my neck. The staff also helps book trips and will helped with a visa issue I was having. The receptionist is always happy...

This Hotel was charming, friendly, clean and a great start to our stay in Vietnam. We were very much welcomed and advised about our stay and potential tourist opportunities, although though not pushed into making any commitments Breakfast was usually a baguette, Vietnamese coffee (got to be done) and an egg of some sort and was very satisfying really. Our...

We were recommended by 2 Groups of friends to stay here, they stayed that phuong was very nice and really helpful throughout their stay, and they were right! She invited me and my girlfriend for a Vietnamese lunch, it was amazing! I would recommend staying here if you want to feel welcomed and safe when you arrive in Hoh chi...
