We really enjoyed staying here. Jean was a wonderful host and tells fascinating stories about the plants on the grounds, the history and mission of Tam Tinh Vien, and a variety of other topics involving Vietnamese culture. The walk in the neighborhood and over the river was really fun, including a delightful conversation with a monk at the nearby pagoda....

We stayed with our kids for 2 nights. There were lovely gardens and a pond outside the villa, room was very big with 4 poster beds and mosquito nets, fridge, wifi, big bathroom with nice shower. The owners organised a feast to be cooked for us on our first night as we arrived late-ish. This needs to be pre-arranged and...

This is a lovely property. Proceeds go towards supporting an orphanage which is wonderful. Lovely staff, great accommodation and lovely location. Puppies and gorgeous family who are doing a lot of good for children by providing shelter and adulation for people who would not otherwise have access to education.

This was the highlight of my holiday in Vietnam - away from the hustle and bustle of cities, an amazing host, amazing accommodation and surroundings and a wonderful opportunity to meet the children that live there. Sadly we could only stay one night but I can't wait to return for a much longer period. An awesome and humbling experience. Thank...

Tam Tinh Vien Homestay is very special. Beautifully renovated old traditional houses in a scenic and serene garden setting alone is my image of a perfect holiday home. In addition, all proceeds from the Homestay go directly to the orphanage at the back. The French/Spanish host is very knowledgable and will take you on tours in the area, too. His...

We only stayed here one night and wish it could have been 2, but it was booked for the second night of our stay on Hue (however, they booked a great hotel for us in the city for our second night). The rooms are beautiful as are the grounds and breakfast area. Jean was very helpful with info about what...

Beautiful rooms, great breakfast outside. Very friendly owner who took me around the village, to the market and the school. A very memorable place. Would love to have stayed longer. A short cab ride in to Hue.

My brother and I stayed at Tam Tinh Vien for two days while in Hue. It was a wonderful experience, and one of our most memorable in Vietnam due to the lovely people - the owners of the homestay and the children. To get to the homestay, we took a boat ride down the Perfume River which concluded with a...

This is a truly memorable homestay and certainly not your typical homestay. The room we stayed in is really more of a house set in a very beautiful landscape. Very Zen- like. Jean, the owner, is an incredible man. He has dedicated his life to helping the children of the community. He funds the kindergarten that he had built with...
