The Vien Dong hotel is in a good location near to the beach and many restaurants. It's easy to walk around everywhere but you have to keep your wits about you when crossing the roads. The rooms are light and airy. The air conditioner is loud but a welcome relief from the outside weather. Our room faced onto the main...

Dear deid58 , Firstly we would like to thank you for taking the time to advise of your recent stay at Vien Dong Hotel. We were very disappointed to read of your experience during your stay at our hotel. We do apologize that the air conditioner was loud & would disturb your sleep, this issue will be addressed to the...

We had a room in the 'new' part of the hotel, and there were issues. The room has an odd, touch-sensitive 'control panel' between the beds, where you turn on and off all room amenities (lights, air-cond, etc). Not only did the power go off and on a couple of times during the night, but there were odd things happening:...

Good location close to beach. Huge swimming pool, and sun beds. Spacious clean bedroom, with kettle and tea and coffe provided, plus safe, TV, and air conditioning. Good sized bathroom too, with a bath and shower that is angled correctly! Excellent breakfast with omelettes, fried eggs and fluffy pancakes made to order. Plus extensive Vietnamese breakfast available. We arrived early...

This hotel was good. It has a pool and was close to the beach. Also close to conscience stores and restaurants. The aircon was really good in these rooms. The beds were a bit hard, but dealable. The wifi was pretty slow. The buffet breakfast was good too

Poolside in July it is swimming lessons from 0530. Grumpy swimming teachers and well dressed mums drinking tea. This aside the pool is good with shady spots to lie. Hotel only a few hundred metres to the beach. A very big hotel, took standard twin rooms out the back, while dated and a bit run down the room was clean...

Firstly, Nha Trang is an area that is very much under development, so it was by no means a pretty spot. The hotel was quite disappointing, it was all very cheaply done, not very clean and very noisy. Most of the staff spoke very or no English, so everything from getting directions to ordering room service was a trial. We...

Arrived in the afternoon. Reception were friendly, however had a very bad understanding of English. The room was very tired looking, with the elevator as slow as could be imagined. The air con was on the fritz 90% of the time. I was there with a group of 30. We all had the same issues. The breakfast was super basic...

Centrally located within easy walking distance to the beach. There was some construction work at the time but noise was kept to a minimum.Pool is great (shame they removed the slide). Breakfast was most enjoyable, as was lunch. Well recommended.

Stayed here on a tour so cannot comment on value for money as it was included in the hotel price, however, it was a good & clean hotel. Walking distance from the beach and the amazing beach front restaurants (unless you never walk anywhere, then you may complain it is a little far). The rooms are quite small, but you...
