Very small, rustic hotel in the heart of the old city of Baku, but surprisingly just a few minutes walk from the very nice and new city centre. Good breakfast, english speaking lady (Liliya) at the reception. Taxi shuttle from / to the aiport (big car). A "normal" taxi might not find the street as it is in the still...

First of all before coming to Baku you need to know which area you will be visiting and according to that you can search for hotels. I did the same with this hotel. Even though I did not know that Old city and Fountain Square was close enough to this hotel. You can take a walk, and in 15 mins...

First tip: you may want the hotel to arrange a taxi pick-up from the airport to the hotel because you might have the bad luck of getting a driver who doesn't know the street and could end up being lost for an hour. We paid 24 manats for the pre-arranged taxi as our flight arrived at 5.35am on FlyDubai. Our...

I stayed in Fawlty Towers hotel for 9 days. The personnel is friendly and the hotel is small, only 6 rooms which i liked. The rooms are rustic, not very big but with anything you need for a confortable stay, including very good wifi internet which I needed the most and was very happy with. The location is on a...

We had a pleasant stay at the Fawlty Towers Hotel - the location was great (near the Old City) and the room oozed charm, although the bed was a little uncomfortable. The staff spoke some English and were very friendly. The free wifi was good and we were able to find a few English news channels on tv. The only...

Excellent location being only a few minutes walk from the main shops and restuarants. Roads outside a bit dark with lack of street lights and pavements in poor repair. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who speak perfect English. I shall certainly be staying there on my next trip. So many pubs only a few minutes walk away.

I stayed there with a friend a few nights in May 2013. The location is great, the rooms are clean, the price is fair and above all, the people managing the hotel are amazingly kind and helpful. If you are on budget and look for a good hotel I highly recommend this place.

We stayed for two nights at Fawlty Towers when visiting baku. It's just two minutes to walk from the hotel and you are in the main pedestrian area, also quite close to the fountains square. To the old town it's about 15 to 20 minutes to walk. The hotel is located in a small side street, but it feels perfectly...

Unusual interior design, cozy rooms, clean bathroom, free wifi, absolutely amazing receptionist.... real fast could be more diverse but for that price you can't ask more.... I'll definitely come back when I'm in Baku!

“There are only 6! Perhaps first floor is better. We had a lot of luggage so decided for groundfloor without watching the first floor rooms. No elevator.”

“If you want a quiet room, avoid the ones near the reception as you may hear people checking in or out and also some street level noise. There is no lift but the hotel is only 3 floors high so the rooms on Level 3 should be the quietest.”
