The staff are very pleasant and the food was delicious. Room Service was nice. The service was on par with the prices. Hotel was quite and the location was top-notch. The room was very clean and cozy.
Hotel is conveniently located in diplomatic areas close to many embassies and near to Dhaka international airport. Rooms are fine albeit with somewhat basic facilities. Food options are diverse. Service comes with a smile.
Hotel room has been renovated recently & there work is still going on. Room was HUGE. All the embassies are close from the hotel. Staff's are friendly & always been there to help. Best part is, due heavily secured place in Bangladesh there is no noise at all therefore me & my wife slept very well. Oh there Breakfast is awesome.
Returned for a week to Asia Pacific hotel for work trip. The overall ambiance is pleasant and rooms are somewhat basic but truly sufficient. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and on site restaurant offers value for money. Minus point, the advertised gym is no longer existent
Exceptional. Came to stay overnight with family after long journey from UK. Guys picked us up from the airport to hotel. What a great welcome we have received. Staff were exceptionally great. Location is very secure due to the hotel fall on Diplomatic zone in Dhaka and close to International Airport. Rooms were very clean and tidy with refreshments available. Menus were great lots of with choice. We have ordered our dinner and they have prepared everything fresh and and the service was so quick and efficient. Staff at the restaurants are very friendly and helpful. And the room attendances, I have no word to thank them. Overall great experience. I highly rcommand Asia Pacific Hotel.
The hotel situated in a good neighborhood near the embassy complex, thus you will see some of the road guided by the security officer. Staff is helpful and friendly, they will help you at anytime. My favorite for breakfast is their delicious pancake, although they also have some other selection. Good stay for me for few days, the only concern is the small elevator and they only have one in the building.
Just spent a few days on business In Dhaka and thought the Hotel reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Their ability to offer directions to shopping was appreciated. Hotel restaurant was affordable and appropriate. Would stay there again next time I am in town.
This is a 2-star hotel considering the amenities, ambience and facilities, but this hotel is providing service at the level of a 5-star hotel! I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and all i can say that the stay was pleasant and delightful. Details of my stay is given below: Pros: 1. The room is huge (usually we get big rooms in 5 star hotels only nowadays) 2. The service of the staffs starting from the vehicle driver from the airport to the kitchen staff who served food during the buffet breakfast was absolutely professional with human touch in their service. 3. The room facilities like air conditioning, ceiling fan,the cupboards, fridge;all were functioning properly. 4. The rooms come with safety locker where u can put ur valuable things. 5. The breakfast is served in buffet style where various choices are available and these comes with fresh juices and tea/coffee options. 6. The room service is excellent, whenever i needed something, they obliged with a smile and delivered me within a short time. 7. The staffs at the reception were very well mannered and presented pleasant personality. 8. The hotel is well secured. 9. The most amazing thing for me is the service i received at the airport. There were 2 guys who assisted me and my wife to the exit, they helped in picking up my luggages from the luggage belt. This was a blessing for me because i was having shoulder-ache and i had heavy luggages,so i will always be grateful to those 2 guys! Cons: 1. The food in the restuarant of this hotel is damn expensive! I recommend this hotel to the travellers travelling to dhaka. This hotel surely deserves a 5* rating from me!…
At 18 million, Dhaka is a megacity, with some of the worst traffic in the world. While staying in West Bengal for 3 months, I planned a short trip to Dhaka to see colleagues working on the impacts of climate change, and also to meet new colleagues from some of the universities. Mty colleagues advised me to stay in the Asia Pacific Hotel and they set up the reservation for me. The excellent service began when I arrived at the airport and was met by a hotel car. The room was very clean and comfortable. I immediately went to bed, and slept like a log, because I am staying in a rural town well north of Kolkata called Santiniketan, and it had taken me a long time to get to the airport to catch my flight to Dhaka. I not only met up with students and colleagues in the hotel to chat with them but we also had a lunch meeting (great food!). The staff helped me out with some technical stuff, like copying a CD-ROM. All in all, I cannot thank them enough.…
This hotel has the highest level of security and protection for travelers arriving to check-in. When the guests want to enter the hotel, they will be scanned for any prohibited arms. Its English-speaking staff are hospitable and friendly towards guests. They deliver fruit baskets to tourists who have checked-in on their first day. They can arrange private taxi drivers to bring tourists to their destinations but a ride in the car is expensive. The hotel rooms do not have tubes of toothpaste and containers for tooth-brushing. Only rationed small packs of toothpaste are available. It is recommended to bring one's own tooth-brushing container along or buy a travel bottle from the nearest supermarket, basically a grocery store of 30 to 40 minutes by walking from the hotel. It is impossible to summon a rickshaw rider in front of the hotel. The hotel is not mosquito-free. Wearing long-sleeved shirts, pants and jeans is advisable.…
