I stay in many hotels every year for family and business purposes all over the world. We stayed in this hotel in December 2022. Overall I am sorry to say, this was the worst hotel experience ever. Disorganised check in process, dirty bed sheets, door keys not working, dirty chairs, poor breakfast facilities and choice, wanting to charge for anything and everything and worst of all, the girl working at the reception desk needs to learn some customer service skills and manners.
Contacted the Raintree and Holiday Inn hotel in Dhaka enquiring about a reservation. Had a response back from the Raintree in 5 minutes but Holiday Inn didn't replied for 6 days and after writing a negative review. Very impressed with Raintree staff quick, curtious and friendly response. Answered every query i made within 10-15 minutes. Looking forward to my stay in September.
On my way back from Bangladesh I stayed in the Raintree hotel Dhaka.,,, I booked this hotel via WhatsApp.. booking was taken very professionally by this young lady shuti I think that’s the name… staff very polite looked very professional spoke good English…. The rooms were very clean well designed the swimming pool on the rooftop was excellent we even had the food from the restaurant as room service it was good… The only issue that we had the two days we stayed was the air-conditioning wasn’t working very well we had them come up and fix it five or six times.. as you can imagine Bangladesh is a very hot country 32 to 35°.. without air-conditioning you’re in trouble… overall the stay was very comfortable and I would like to thank the young lady who communicated with me well done you…. 10 out of 10 for service……
Clean hotel with friendly and supportive staff. The location is excellent for those who wish to be in and around the major restaurants and shopping in Gulshan/ Banani areas. The buffet breakfast is good and the menu changes daily. The only hiccup we had was the lights went out in the middle of the night, which I’m sure they could have fixed if we had informed the reception. Maybe not right then, as it was around 02:30am! Overall, quite good.
Spent almost a week at the Raintree. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood away from the bustle of the main streets but also close enough to get there with a 10 min walk. The room is adequate and comfortable. My biggest complaints are to do with the bathroom and the breakfast. The shower and hand shower are both leaky and you do not get a refreshing shower. On the first day i burnt myself on the handshower cos piping hot water came out of all sides.THE TOWELS ARE TERRIBLE. They look like they've been used for years. Threadbare and coming apart. Felt weird every time i had to use them. The wifi is extremely patchy. The other major complaint is breakfast. Very poor options, they had the same rotis on offer and on one day called it naan and the next called it paratha. I stopped having breakfast after 3 days. …
I was visited Hotel Raintree Dhaka for my business meeting . And the warmth welcome I received was memorable to me . They served food at their ioli restaurant and I really loved that place. But they need to improve their parking space issues.
I stayed at this property for 2 weeks in April 2019. The sales and front office staff is extremely nice and take good care of guests needs. Rooms are clean and well equipped for a property of this size. Breakfast needs a complete revamp as both the quality of food and service are average. Do not understand why the hotel is sticking to limiting the menu with very few changes on the items served on alternate days. It would be good to make changes on the menu. Also suggest the management upgrade free time facilities for in house guests like reading room, coffee / tea with snacks in the evening.
I travelled for business to Dhaka in 2019 and stayed in the Raintree Hotel for a few nights. The hotel is nice and located in the peaceful part of the Gulshan area, but is very near to all the good restaurants and shops of the area. One can walk up to the "Gulshan morh" in 10 minutes and can visit different restaurants by walking for 5-7 minutes. The hotel's breakfast options are quite good and organized. It has a small gym too. The rooms are pretty spacious and well appointed, with ample space to relax as well as to work. The service is good too. The prices are a bit expensive but that's probably partly justified because of its location.
Had a good and peaceful stay at Raintree, very warm people, eager to attend to you, bringing a personal touch to their approach, nice location in the main hub of Dhaka (Gulshan and Banani), good restaurants near by.
