The hotel enjoys a very convenient location on Green Road Dhaka, in the center of all activities yet provides the required privacy to its guests. The rooms are of decent size and are comforting in all aspects. Comfortable bed, enough sitting space, spacious bathroom and good service level. I have visited Bangladesh on few occasion and continued to stay at Sel Nibash. Good staff interaction and good free breakfast.
The manager Mr Mamun on the front desk is very cordial and helpful and followed through with all the staff and Badhon on the entrance gate was so helpful in guiding me through the maze of Dhaka

I stayed here for 4 days during my recent trip to Dhaka.
I stayed in the executive room which was a decent and the room rates was very much affordable.
Though the complementary breakfast have a limited menu but was good and was very much like homely cooked food.
The in-house service was also good and the food quality was awesome.

Over all I really enjoyed staying here.

Only for the location,I stayed here several time from last 3 years. Sometimes regular after two or three month. But every time I had to through the typical process of check-in. every time they increased the tariff with new excuses and the reception guy took photo of me by a camera for security reason. It is ridiculous. I suggested them to keep a hidden camera for that job and use a software to keep the record of frequent guests. But no one like free suggestion.

There room is too tiny and not clean.wifi is chargeable.Toilet is old. Breakfast is so cheap. One thing is positive is that you get unlimited filtered water hot and cold out of your room.

It is a very low budget standard hotel but not actually low budget! Never going back there. I suggest to go to PALTAN AREA where you can find 71hotel and fars hotel and resorts. This two is very good location and very good all over. Tariff is very reasonable.

It is one of the best places I stayed overseas. Friendly staff, clean rooms, quick service, variety of food items available during BF as well as through out the day. I felt like home while staying there for 10 days. Will stay there again when I visit Bangladesh next time.

The service was quite good, however, the cleanliness needs great improvement. The bathroom needs to be divided into a separate shower as the whole floor and toilet gets wet when taking a shower. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and polite. The breakfast menu needs to be changed to include new items. It had the same menu every other day. The business center did not have any a/c and it was hard to use the internet as the server was usually down. The rooms were o.k. however thorough cleaning is required. There were dark stains on the bathroom walls. The TV did not work properly which they finally changed a day before I left. Otherwise, I had a very pleasant stay in a safe and caring environment.

This was a unique experience for me and my colleague , who travelled with me to Dhaka.
As soon as we landed in Dhaka we learnt that some political party had called for a nationwide strike , and this included all the public transportation. We had booked our pickup and drop with the hotel. And yes the Hotel guys did honor their commitment. We had a ambulance pick us up from the airport (Ambulances being part of emergency/necessary services dont get picked by the rioters).
As for the hotel, the rooms were clean, though not spotlessly clean. Staff was courteous. A basic complimentary breakfast is served in the morning. There are no of eateries at walking distance from the hotel, but they were all closed due to the strike. They charge for the internet. The place is centrally located and is safe. The place is a deal at the price. And you can save money on travel if you have work in the rearby area, as this is located a major commercial hub of Dhaka.

I stayed at this hotel for five nights in late December 2012. Although it's not spotlessly clean, I considered the place a clean one, or very clean compared to other Bangladeshi or Indian hotels of the same price range. The breakfast is basic but is good enough for me. Breakfast is buffet of local food (2-3 items) with juice, banana and coffee/tea. Once every 3 days, the continental breakfast with fired and boiled eggs is offered instead.

I had dinner at the hotel twice. The price of the food is reasonable. About 200-400 BDT per meal.

The hotel is on green road, which is convenient for me to attended the conference at BIAM foundation. The closer hotel would be the Pan Pacific Dhaka but that one was about five to six times more expensive.

The staffs are mostly friendly and they are honest people. The thing to complain about the hotel is the TV set was not working well. Whenever I changed the channel, it also raised the volume and it had many strange features.

I couldn't find the fitness as described in the hotel website. I didn't bother to ask anyway.

I have been living in SEL Nibash on and off since 2008. This tells a lot.
I feel like home in this hotel. Staffs are friendly and ready to help you anytime. It is at the busy street but you get really a value for money. I highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are clean, wifi is available, and break fast is included in the room charge. For those who are interested to prepare food by themselves, hotel suites also include kitchenettes.

Since the budget of our company is limited, I stay this time in SEL Nibash. It is cheap, and as a three stars hotel, we cannot expect much. There is hot water and air conditioner. So, if you just think how to sleep, this hotel is totally acceptable.
