This hotel located at the busiest place in Dhaka City. Its entrance is not direct from road but you have to find it out through a Lane. Step up to 1st floor, you will get the Reception. The Room was clean but worst thing is pillow cover was dirty. common aminities(toothpaste, brush, soap and shampoo etc) were there. The Reception people were not that much friendly.
For a short stay(1/2 days) I recommend this hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days. I had a single room and it was clean but a little bit noisy from the outside. The restaurant downstairs is good and cheap. Reception is not friendly and speaks poor English. For a short stay it's a good option. The area is not very touristic so i found it attractive. No hot water though.

After we expressed our dislike of international chain hotels, our guide we met through Lonely Planet's forum booked us this hotel in "a local neighbourhood" but we never expected that for 48 hours we had to endure what would be the dirtiest environment ever experienced in our entire lives. Twice did we find (and of course kill) a cockroach crawling in our en-suite room. We blamed ourselves for not bringing sleeping bags with us. While the air-con and the TV worked fine, the standard room was dark, dingy, decrepit and downright depressing. The views outside were equally miserable: piles of trash everywhere on the street. We just couldn't wait to run away from this naraka. The only positive thing we could think of was its complimentary daily newspaper.

I booked a room through telephone for couples. When I checked in with my wife, there were two receptionist. They were truely unprofessional. Even they had called to our parents for verify our relation. At a points I said that, we dont need the room, let us go. But they were still argueing and charged me tha room fare. Than I paid and chacked out after one hour. You are totally unsafe in that hotel.

Had stayed here back in 2010. It was ofcourse a short trip. The other hotels were ofcourse the most horrid!! This was cleaner and of standard quality. Price was reasonable. Staff was friendly but only thing was tge rooms come with short curtains and glass windows. So changing in the room isa bit threatening as roomboys are constantly outside. Food here is expensive. We usedto go to nearby local hotel, they served reasonable food there. Apart from this place don't ever try to look for cheaper hotels here. This area is a RED LIGHT DISTRICT of dhaka! So please be careful!!

Stayed there lately. Area ok with easy transportation, money changer and.shopping all within walking distance. Hotel itself is clean and well maintained for stranger rooms. I have understood that the lower floors are kept for locals whereas bideshis (strangers) are given floor rooms which are cleaner. Restaurant is very nice and cheap with good coffee. Recommended.
