The mosques near the hotel are very noisy. The Heineken beer was sold out and only the local Hunter beer was available during a 4 days stay, but the special drink which one of the guys at the bar created is very nice.
My wedding reception was recently held at the Oasis venue at this hotel. It was well organized given the Pandemic situation. The venue is really unique, with lush greenery all around. To me, the most impressive part was the food and cooperation of the staff. However, the standard of the rooms needs to improve (i stayed on the 4th Floor). The rooms were really old fashioned, although clean and tidy. Overall, great value for money !
Worst experience ever! The front desk guy was extremely unprofessional with his words, and he was acting like he was doing us a favor to us by upgrading the room when they already confirmed the phone over the phone. Never going back, only good thing was their breakfast, the pillows were very uncomfortable, room service was pathetic no checkout payment facility available
Just fantastic!!! From the very beginning of my stay at sonargaon Pan Pacific I knew that hotel sonargaon Pan Pacific provides 7 Star ⭐🌟 quality service as I've been in this hotel from my childhood back in from 1990, when I was a teenage life. As a result, I have no other way to decide to stay in this hotel with my entire family after 25 years. It is still the same sonargaon Pan Pacific that is unbeatable in it's quality of service. Thanks Pan Pacific. Abdur Rahman DOHS Baridhara Dhaka
At the departure I was charged for early check-in although I was told on the arrival it would not happen. The hotel organised major 3-day international conference I attended but was still greedy to earn more money even if it meant tricking hotel guests. The bar/nightclub within the hotel - obviously independently managed - is full of prostitutes. Food in hotel restaurants is ludicrously expensive for Dhaka living standard - buffet breakfast is 25 euros! After official conference dinner waiters in hotel ballroom have been asking for tips?! Hotel is offering (paid) tours of the city, but when I wanted to book I was told there is no place available for next couple of weeks?! On a positive note rooms are decent, pool is nice and location is not bad.
Great hotel with the best breakfast in Dhaka, excellent service, especially at the Omellete station, and the restaurant staff in general made our mornings worth staying in, in general, the hotel is beautiful.
Staff are accommodating. Rooms need to improve on cleanliness, sanitation, amenities, and equipments. The buffet breakfast is average. I have stayed in other hotels in Dhaka that provides extensive and very good foods reflecting the Bangladesh's cuisines.
First, the service at the front desk was exceedingly helpful and polite. Second, the quality of food and beverage at Cafe Bazar was as outstanding as their friendly services. The cleaning crew was always eager to clean and change sheets. However, I did not want to change too frequently for environmental reasons. I was never in short of any supplies.
Great for the location. In the heart of the city with easy accessibility to any place. Good pick-up and drop-off services to and fro from airport. Nice pool. The restaurant is good. Being a vegetarian, I would prefer some more choices for veg food... I was initially allotted a room in 5th floor without any warning...when I stepped out of the lift in 5th floor, the smell of cigarette smoke was intolerable...I then asked for a room change which was immediately addressed...but they could have asked me my choice at the time of checking-in....why allott smoking floor and then later change? I do not know whether providing my membership number has any effect or not. I gave my membership number at the time of check-in. But the lady staff said she would enter the number later. I was disappointed. It would be nice if it is entered before the member is handed over the room key and they are bit more transparent.…
The Hotel and its location are wonderful. The staff are courteous at a level one might expect at a much more expensive hotel. the food is excellent. I ate all my meals in the Cafe Bazaar. The pool made a huge difference for me after a long set of flights
