In January 2013 I wanted to visit Sakara Hotel and Massage. I struggled to find it on Street 242, finally realizing: it is closed. The building has no sign on it, but it looks like it is being renovated. So maybe the hotel will revive and return to an even more excellent state. In this review I leave ratings for...

My main hotel I use was fully booked so I went back to sakura cos it was getting a facelift last time I was there..15 dollars.shower worked well,,but alas,,the bed is a brick and didn't look like they changed the covers,,the towels were those type which are thin and stick to you,awful trying to dry with them and the aircon...

staff are nice and helpful,,,close enough to the centre and the tuk and motto drivers aint over the top in hassling you..the hotel has changed hands and there is a lot of work being done,problem is the noise starts at 8am and its loud,dust is everywere,should really have been closed for this type of work.also,,theres a night club beside or...

Didn't like this hotel atall. BUT, we had been spoiled on the rest of our trip in Cambodia, staying in much nicer hotels. This was a BIG come down. stayed here for 2 nights,,first room i got had no running water,also the aircon was crap,,looked very old and jaded,,the table top veneer was nearly curled into the middle and a really musty smell about the room...not nice at all..my friend wanted to check out there and then but i paid the 2 nights up front...the guy on the desk...

I have stayed at Sakura for at least 20 times. I am not looking for a Holiday Inn atmosphere in my stay in Cambodia. There are three main reasons why I stay at Sakura. The first is I have never had one item or any money ever taken from my room in 8 years. I always leave 5 or 10...
