Awesome guesthouse that is kept to the highest standard of cleanliness (especially in the dorms). The food is amazing and of fair price. You cannot ask for a better location only 2 min walk to the royal palace and riverside. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The bar and restaurant area is perfect for meeting other travellers and sharing...

Great owners, awesome food, fantastic drinks...what more could you ask for? Didn't stay here, but visited the bar two nights in a row because it's awesome! What more can I say? Go there, you won't regret it!

We stayed at The Lazy Gecko for 5 days and Dave made sure to have us feeling at home from the moment we walked in. All the employees were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our entire visit. Awesome food/drinks, great location and clean rooms! There's also a cute dog named Eric, who we grew to love. If you're looking for...

For backpackers or those wanting a quality drink this is where you should be. Queens size bunk beds making that 5 dollars go a long way. The bar men - Tod and Dave had me sorted for where to eat and where to go along with top notch banter which meant a lot of nights spent at the bar in...

The room was basic, which is fine if you are the kind of traveller that only needs a shower, toilet and a decent bed (as we are). We hung out a lot in the café downstairs, which has a really nice, laidback atmosphere. The owner and staff are friendly and up for a chat.
