The hotel is adequate and rooms on the top floor are better than the ones on the lower floors.
I had a river view.But no balcony.
Breakfast was ok.
Cambonia is definately a 3rd world country and still recovering from the civil war.
Stayed here 8 years ago. The pool area has been nicely revamped as has the restaurant. However the very large rooms need some TLC.
The location is perfect for peace away from the hubbub down town. Short walk to the restaurants by the river.
Given the prices and the location you would think this hotel would be a prime choice. Think again. It charges top prices, but its old, smelly in places and the staff are untrained, and although willing unable to do much of anything.

25 minutes to an hour depending on the time of day and traffic. Great location looking out over where the Mekong and Tonle Sap come together. You can walk to the palace and other amazing places on the river front.
