We stayed in the Juliana Hotel as a part of our tour of Cambodia. Having read some really awful reviews about it beforehand I really was ready for the worst. Although not as bad as I was expecting it to be there is room for improvement. On our first night we checked in and were given a room with a...

I would not stay here again. My "superior" hotel room window was shrouded in shadecloth to block out the view of neighbouring houses. I had trouble opening the safe which contained my passport, phone and camera, and was told I would have to wait a couple of hours until the manager returned. As hard as they tried, I found some...

I stayed at the Juliana for two nights in Jan 2007 and would not stay here again, despite some good features of the hotel. Positives: - The hotel has a lovely large pool, set amongst beautiful well-maintained plants, that is a true pleasure to sit by. Best of all, there is a large lounge area, walled on three sides and...

Fans of the Rex in Ho Chi Minh City will love this place. We stayed at the Juliana in April for two nights as we transited from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap. This hotel is a real little hidden gem. Great rates with a fantastic pool and friendly service. As we found typical in Cambodia, they're not waiting...

My husband and I recently returned from a lovely 6 week vacation throughout Asia. With the exception of Hotel Juliana in Phnom Penh, our hotels were great. The manager at the Juliana was surly and arrogant from the beginning but behaved badly when we were forced out of our room when a mouse was discovered running around in it. We...

We were visiting Cambodia on a business trip and had to stay for four nights in Phnom Penh. I haven't traveled a lot in SE Asia, but I have seen enough to know that from time to time you want to get away from the funky guesthouses and enjoy some downtime in a hotel that is more similar to what...

Not the best location, but a good value hotel. Good management, helpful staff. And remarkably quiet.

We stayed at the Juliana last month, Sept 06 and found it adequate for our needs. It was a clean, business style hotel that looks to have a large package tourist clientele as well. The hotel, although not close to the centre of Phnom Penh was only a short tuk tuk ride away so that didn't pose any problems. The...

We stayed in the Juliana as part of a package tour between 2 -5 October. As this is our first ever stay in Phnom Penh I refrain from comparing this to other hotels in PP as I have no idea what to expect here. So all I can comment on are some general observations In comparison to our hotel in...

We visited friends in Ho Chi Minh City and the four of us booked a mini tour to Cambodia through VidoTour of Vietnam and Cambodia (I would highly recommend this company as well). Two nights in Phnom Penh and three in Siem Reap. The tour company chose the Juliana Hotel in PP, while I chose the hotel in Siem Reap....
