Was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location alongside the river, near the Palace is lovely, and we had a spacious stylish room with dark wood flooring and a decent sized bathroom. We were on a higher floor which meant the lift took its time but the upside was that traffic noise was reduced. Our room faced the road...

From room could see river and in distance silver pagoda and royal, palace. Police prevented access Unfortunately our booking agent did not tell us of themking's death and ceremonial cremation that closed streets and attractions, wish we could nave been at raffles where there is at least a pool and spa. We arrived here after a flight from Siem reap and had a delightful welcome because all the standard rooms were taken. We were allocated what looked like the best room in the hotel - alongside the river on one side but also overlooking the street and temple at the corner of the hotel, and the balcony went all along both...

Stayed here November 2012. Our tour operator, Andy Freeman of Trailfinders booked this hotel for us and the location was superb. We had a junior suite overlooking the river and it was lovely to watch sunsets from the balcony . The hotel is very close to the Museum and Royal Palace and to the river ferries. The rooms are stupendous,...

Great location - next to the Grand Mekong, walking distance and near Royal Palace, Wat Ounalam, Museum, and many restaurants and bars. Loved the architecture. Room has all wood - floor, arm chairs, sofa, bedbase, sink base. Loved the interior. The air-conditioner DOES WORK. Just ask staff how they work, and it takes just a few minutes. The corner Junior...

Couldn't ask for a better location. Really right in the centre of town on the riverfront. The rooms are huge and even though you can hear the street traffic it's not a problem. We had a great balcony view and the bathroom was excellent. Staff were very polite and helpful and breakfast was good. Others may complain of the heat...

I had booked this hotel in hope of watching the Water Festival in Nov 2012. Alas that was cancelled. For location, there is probably no better hotel in Phnom Penh. The view over Tonle Sap is as good as it gets, and everything is very close. I guess I had the best room in the hotel, but the location was...

Arrived 2 days ago midnight after over 30 hours of travelling, after being shown to our nice room to get some much needed sleep woke at 3 in the morning because of the heat caused by the room aircon unit packing in. Phoned reception and were able to prowl the heated corridors to another room. Next day told our original...

We had a junior suite and I think all the rooms are a similar size. Our room had a balcony and a great view of the Mekong and Royal Palace. The rooms are spacious and light with larger than average bathroom. Staff were friendly and efficient and cleanliness and room service was excellent. A lively rooftop bar with great views...
