I stayed with my daughter at this hotel. The room was ok a little spartan for my taste it needed more furniture. The swimming pool was a bonus staying in the centre of town, not many hotels have this facility. The staff were friendly and attentive. My one complaint is that there was a lot of building work going on...

I stayed at the Ansara for only one night, so I don't have a lot to go on, but I thought this was a fine hotel. I got in late, after the kitchen had closed, so I don't know how good the room service or meals are. There is a lovely pool and the rooms are well appointed with a...

We fell in love with this hotel! The location is excellent! It is very near all the attractions and restaurants, you will not need a tuk-tuk to visit most places, they will be within walking distance. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful Buddhist temples, giving it a really relaxed atmosphere. The swimming pool has just been completed and is BEAUTIFUL,...

I was not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. This boutique hotel, although small, is tastefully decorated. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and perfect for a couple traveling together. Although the breakfast selection was limited, it was nonetheless healthy. They did their scrambled eggs very well! I also loved the layout of this resort--a perfect mix of garden...

Needs a bit more value for money. Rooms are a little spartan and they could be more generous with the bottled water. However, great location, nice pool, friendly staff and everything exactly as you would need it.

I wanted to try out other options in Vientiane but all other hotels in this class had sold out. I hate to dwell on it but the breakfast quality hasn't improved since my last stay. The selections aren't good. It's all Western and in a country like Laos it means poor quality. It boggles my mind why there is no...

Last hotel during our group tour in Laos. Good location, 150 meters from river bank boulevard and night market. Very bright and clean looking. Different pavilions with approx. 12 rooms in every pavilion (3 stories high) around the garden and the empty ! swimming pool. No elevators (!) Room was quite spacious, well lighted, bathroom well equipped, large rain-shower with...

Ansara Hotel is situated in the city centre. This means on walking distance of the temples and easy to find (on your way back home). Moreover the Mekong River is very nearby, as well as the Night Market. Our room was o.k., containing everything we needed. Staff were friendly and their English was very good. Twice we had dinner in...

We had quite a rough trip before reaching Vientiane, including delayed flights, night spent in transit hotel, lost luggage... and when we reached our rooms, it was really close to magic. The rooms are so comfortable ! We were lucky to get a huge room with all details, and we really regretted not to spend more time in Ansara. Staff...
