Had to stay there for one night because everything we checked on arrival seemed to be booked out. Unfortunately, we even had to take the one ridiculously expensive room of 160,000kip. If you pay that much for a room in Laos, you definitely expect some better standard. However, the room was small with hundreds of mosquitos, dirty towels and a...

Room was really basic, not worth $20. The man at the front desk was way more interested in playing temple run on his phone than pointing out the pharmacy or internet cafe. There were a lot of flies. When I told them, they held up a can of Raid. I asked if there were other options. They gave me the...

While every other place is full in peak season this eerie place is half empty. The owner was rude and insisted on me leaving him with my passport and paying upfront which I stupidly did. The staff were rude too.. After one night I was covered in bed-bugs, flea bites. Avoid this place. AND it's expensive by comparison.

The room was big but it was over priced compared with others in town. There's no included breakfast and the staff were rude and unhelpful. The only positive is an outside terrace overlooking the river where you can watch the sun go down.

The hotel was overpriced for what you got. Very basic accommodation for the price. Over 20 USD a night, we found better places for half the price. Be wary of the staff who will come up to your room to ask you to pay. Either give correct change, or go downstairs. We lost all our change because the guy said...

The place is nice and room clean but the wc in the room was not working at all, but they did not change us the room. We asked for a cheaper room without AC (it was cold in that period) but they sayed they did not have, they only have the most expensive... but they have more that 50 rooms...

An overpriced place which smells musty. Wi-fi very weak. There was a nice english speaking lady on reception when we arrived who we never saw again, just lots of unhelpful guys who didn't seem to care to understand us. Surprised this place is recommended in the LP as I'm sure there are better spots around. Unfortunately we arrived at night...

We arrived at Vientiane from Hanói (sleeping bus) at 9:00pm and we haven't booked any room. From the guidebook we have, this was a budget hostel, which is perfect for us. Good location, no breakfast and good price (15usd). Don't be expecting for a very nice budget hostel but like the term says, it's on the budget...

Dear guests, We are very disappointed to have read some recent negative reviews about our guest house. Having been recommended in the Lonely Planet guidebook, we have endeavoured to maintain our good reputation. We would therefore like to address some of the issues brought to our attention; Our research shows that bed bugs often enter premesis in rucksacks and luggage...
