Hotel is okay, and the staff seem to be responsive and caring. Location is not convenient to downtown Vientiane, but tuc tucs are readily availabe just outside the hotel to take you wherever you want to go. Restaurant is quite good, and it served a very good buffet breakfast which was included in the room price. Unfortunately when the temperature...

We spent one night here in a room at the back, which faced large trees full of very noisy ciccados! The hotel was very dated and smelt musty on arrival. The beds were very narrow and the breakfast was basic.glad we weren't staying any longer!

in terms as for service for money it was the worst I ever experienced in the last 2 years of traveling. Overpriced. I have nothing against old furniture but when the content of 4 pillows from the last years is compressed it gets stuffed in one which is hard to sleep on...only one example of what the rooms are like....

The Mercure has become old..., and that can be seen everywhere. The room size is ok, and internet foc and very fast. Restaurant food is good but very expensive. Location 5 mins from the airport. Helpful staff.

A two night stay which was marred by exceedingly loud disco music from below into the early hours - bedroom actually vibrated from the thump of the base!!! Bathroom had no window or ventilation fan! Could have been cleaner - someones black hairs on towels! Bedroom OK with firm, comfortable bed. Efficient air conditioner which was most welcome. A long...

We enjoyed our first stay to Vientiane with the help of the friendly staff here. They helped us with all of our "beginner" questions for the city and arranged some local transport to see some sights. Great food. Location is perfect. The building itself is quite charming. Overall decent place to start an adventure in Laos.

This hotel is very nice and the staff are great, attentive and helpful. The location is OK also but hotel lacks any plan for guets to get around Vientiane. Just a rip off personal taxi service in a parking lot next door. They need to get this organised properly as it spoils the whole reason to stay there. I will...

Great pool, great breakfast, good rooms, friendly staff. Elevator a bit aged and clunks, lobby open. It is a little away from downtown, 10-15 min walk. Good stay and comfy place. U can tuck tuck easily to markets.

The hotel is quite a way out of the main part of the city which makes walking to things a bit of a problem. Breakfast in attractive dining room with attentive staff was more than adequate. A huge selection of Asian and Western foods offered. Rooms are fine though not overly attractive. But then this is Laos not NYC!
