we stopped off here for a few days and found the place absolutely fine, they picked us up from the airport promptly and no rip off prices for doing so, our room was spotless and serviced every day very efficiently. the staff were very friendly and helpful and we found the food in the bar to be very good value...

After 35 hours flying and in airports, the Beau Revage Mekong Hotel was exactly what we needed. We were immediately made to feel welcomed and provided with a clean comfortable room with everything we needed to help us overcome our journey here. After staying several nights here, our opinion of only got more positive.

This is quite a nicely decorated small hotel overlooking The Mekong River, although at this time of year isn't worth the extra cost being charged, it looks like mudflats at present. The un-sealed road outside creates dust as well. It doesn't have a proper bathroom, a shower screen in a corner does not make a beautiful bathroom. It also has...

This was a hotel with a difference - our room was a delight, most stylish and with an excellent view of the river. There were little touches in the room (e.g. tables/desk overlooking the river, coffee/tea facilities) that added to our comfort/enjoyment. The owners couldn't have been more helpful (e.g. reconfirming our flights, organising taxis etc) and the staff were...

What we really liked about this hotel was the service. When we were arranging our transfer to the airport, the receptionist told us to double check with LAO airlines regrading our flight. Good thing she did, as we would have missed our flight since they moved our flight up by an hour. When they heard we had to leave early...

we stayed here as a family group of 14 on a pre-booked tour. Our first night was booked at this hotel in Vientiane. It was a shame really that we only had one night here as this hotel was absolutely gorgeous. I think it made our stay in Vientiane all the more worthwhile. We all said that we could have...

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms were well stocked with necessities and were clean for most part. The location is great as it is just on the banks of Mekong River. Though the road in front may be unpaved but it is quite close to park and restaurents. You can take bicylcles from the hotel at...

For me this hotel offered really good value for money: spotless rooms, great views over the Mekong and decent food in the attached bar/restaurant (Spirit House). The location is a bit out of town down a dusty road but don't let that put you off - you'll feel the benefit at dusk when you're sipping a cold Beerlaos and watching...

Location (riverside) is somewhat out of centre, but this is more than compensated with clean stylish and romantic boutique rooms, helpfull staff and service. Decent breakfast is served in the spirit house next door, which is also a nice place for a sunset cocktail. The riverside road was unpaved and dusty at time of visit, but paving is planned.
