I've stayed here twice. Both times in small single rooms with ensuite @ $17 U.S. The hotel is clean and well located but provides minimal service - no coffee or tea, no breakfast & staff have very limited English. When I checked out I wrote on receipt that the mattress was lumpy & needed replacing - it goes down with...

I have checked and used this hotel for my traveler. I really like this hotel location, which is located in the town, in between the two main street, a few minute walk to the city center and tourist area, Also it's about 10mn walk to the Mekong river front.Lovely room with well decorated picture, and amenity set in the bath...

My friends and I were there for 4 nights and we had a good time. The hotel entrance will close at night but you can knock and there will be staff taking care of the door. Our room was big and clean, bathroom lock was broken, but other things were fine. The hotel itself located at a very good spot....

WARNING: There is a 3% fee on any bills settled by credit card. The issue is that when paying they manually added 3% to my bill BUT the credit card machine automatically added this 3% so I was actually charged 6% of the total (slightly more if you consider my total now included the manually added 3%) . This is...

Double room was pretty big, really clean. Nice bathroom with hot shower. Air con worked really well. Wifi was decent. Price is fair 180000 kip for one night. Would stay again. Location is good, close to the Mekong and markets, plenty of bars and restaurants and tour offices around.

Room was a good size, bathroom as well. Very clean. Completely overpriced, paid 180, 000kip for a twin room - 207. Wifi didn't work in the room but did in the passage, staff shrugged their shoulders, avoid rooms at the back of the hotel if you can. Left in the morning to buy a drink, staff ran after me thinking...

After numerous emails back and forth with Vayakorn House confirming three rooms as well as our time of arrival, we arrived in Laos at 2:00 am after 30 hours of traveling. The place was dark, nobody came to the door. I had asked several times if they needed anything else from me (like a deposit) to reserve the rooms. I...

Moved here looking for a cheaper room, paid 130,000 KIP without breakfast. Room was fine, clean comfortable, air on, TV, hot water. yes the window did face a brick wall but it was much quieter than maybe the rooms facing the street. Don't expect too much service from the boys at the desk who seem to spend all their time...

My husband and I stayed here for a few days in November. The location is very central. Our room was large and clean. The only bad thing was the brick wall view. If we'd been staying longer we probably would have asked for another room. The staff were not effusive but certainly friendly and helpful enough. A reasonable hotel for...

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. I decided to book a single room after I was shown a bright room towards the front of the hotel. However, I ended up in a very dim room towards the back so make sure to avoid 107/108 if you want some natural light. The employees were indifferent and didn't...

“Any rooms on the 3rd floor, right hand side have large windows with unobstructed view (nothing spectacular) but you are not staring into the wall of another building so you have night natural light. I had the corner room at the back (306) so I had 180 degree view which I think makes a difference. Wifi worked great in my room.”
