My son and I had a relaxing but fun educational trip to Sri Lanka. This boutique hotel was near the museum which we visited and spent the whole day in. We swam in the hotel pool the rest of the time. The staff was warm, friendly and very accommodating.

Hidden gem middle of busy Colombo. This hotel located in a very busy area, but when you to the property you feel like you are in a village. I got a room with a jacuzzi and it was a great experience. We stayed 4 days in Artisan Villa. The place is really peaceful and quiet. The room was huge and clean, the breakfast was huge and fresh and the staff very friendly. We had a great visit day with the owner, with a lot of fun. We will be back for sure !

I stayed here 2 nights in this Villa, I chose to stay there because it's located in a clean, calm area, and near the embassy where I was going. I loved the hotel, because room was very big, Clean and comfortable, garden, terrace, breakfast, location, everything was great...I would like to thank Kumar, as well as Mme. Anjalee, Thank you for the great time and your assistance during my short stay with you. There are many good restaurants nearby the villa, (small distance to walk) I tried 2 of them , both were amazing. I tried the Italian "The Bayleaf" and the Arabic restaurant "August by Mama Aida's". I will definitely come back and I will strongly recommend you to all my friends and family All the best and see you on my next visit to Colombo. Hassan.

I traveled to Colombo last week and my stay at this property was quite nice. The location is amazing and the property is well managed. Clean and caretaker kumara is a great guy. The breakfast was nice and fresh.. The weather wasn't great during my travel otherwise I would have tried their tiny pool too.

Pros: The villa is located very central and it looks very cozy. The room he had was very big and clean. There was a flat screen tv, AC and a small fridge. The bathroom was clean and we had hot water all the time. There was a pool but we didn't have the chance to try it. We enjoyed the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Cons: The staff was quite slow at serving breakfast.

We spent 2 nights there. Our room was very spacious. The staff was very friendly. It is a pleasant place in a calm area of Colombo. Choice of continental or Sri Lanka breakfast. You need to order it the night before. You eat outside next to this beautiful tree.

Pretty close to downtown cinnamon garden. Lots of good cafe n restaurants nearby. Hotel looks antique, and super price friendly. If you r searching something up to standard hotel, this one won’t make you disappointed. poolside is not that decent Lobby living room area is a bit old Room is okay big, clean n tidy Staff is friendly and kind. Front door decor is great, you can see the host put some efforts on decorating it. The front door babe banyan tree is good!

Very welcoming place in relatively quiet street in more prosperous area. My room was extra large with very cool aircon and flat screen satellite tv. There is a pool in a nice small garden. Only breakfast is available.

This place was fascinating. From it's large wooden.door entryway, to the humongous Bayan tree in it's courtyard. It's like a slice of retro-fitted Paris crossed paths with colonial Dutch-ruled Colombo. But it had lots of modern amenities too. It is nestled out of the way on a side street. The staff were extremely professional and kind. Friendly, warm and careful with their words and interactions with guest. The breakfast was delicious, and they asked me how I would like my eggs (unusual attention to detail at this price-point of around 50 USD per night)!! It was a real jewel in my travels. I will definitely stay again. The room was very large, the bed was comfortable. And, something you rarely see at this price point in Asia, they had washcloths as a part of the toiletry kit.
