I had a wonderful stay. Especially the staff is super helpful, kind and always available. I had a Massage with Shawn... the best I ever had. He pointed out all my therapeutical needs and helped me a lot. Thanks for that!

Arrived to a warm welcome after a long tiring flight. The room was beautiful as was the whole building retaining a huge amount of colonial charm. The staff were fabulously welcoming and helpful and the following day we enjoyed a beautiful brunch in the on site cafe. We only stayed 1 night but will hopefully return. Highly recommended

Very friendly staff, great location and very convenient with the café downstairs. Best place in Colombo! I would highly recommend it. They also have a yoga studio and the rooms are very spacious. I will come back!

I stayed here for 4 nights mainly for the yoga. The yoga was great.it was nice to have a room onsite and everyone was very friendly.I really learned a lot from the instructors, everyone had their own unique style and I learned something from all of them.the standard was very high but there was no ego or prententiousness,I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable and I will be back for more!

The rooms are lovely, big and airy. We stayed in dhyana room. There is free filtered water and a cafe downstairs that serves good breakfast and brunch items. The bathroom had see through glass into the bedroom leaving no privacy whilst using the toilet. I think at one time there was a blind which has since been broken/removed. It would be good to have sugar and milk in the room as well as the teabags provided. Whilst not anything that Prana can change (other than better sound proofing) is the next door nightclub which has exceptionally loud music which kept us awake until 3/4am two nights in a row (even whilst wearing earplugs and I am not a light sleeper). Would I stay here again, unfortunately not, the neighbours really do destroy its efforts to be a lovely little hotel/guesthouse.

The place itself is nice and pretty, but its not a quiet spot to relax in Colombo. I dont mind street noise and traffic but there is a very loud nightclub next door so I had 2 sleepless nights listening to a blasting techno. Not pranas fault of course but it's not fair to advertise themselves as a quite tranquil escape in the city when this is going on. There was also no hot water and nobody did anything for 2 days to fix it, despite me asking many times. Rats on the roof making a lot of noise. Nice yoga class in the evening, daytime is too loud to enjoy the practice. Good cafe on site which is probably the best part of the whole experience. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone who likes to sleep at night and take baths in warm, not cold water.

Right from the welcome to the check out it was an absolute pleasure to stay at Prana. Beautifully comfortable rooms with amazing decor. Looking for somewhere to stay away from the big impersonal hotels it’s here. Will definitely stay again when in Colombo. Thank you Prana. M & A x

Prana Lounge is a serene and beautifully decorated space in a well-located suburb of Colombo. It's a fantastic place to spend a few nights while exploring Colombo. The rooms are exquisite, the service friendly and efficient. The benefits of being located in a building with ayurvedic treatments, yoga and healthy eating options are perfect for the health-conscious traveller.

This is the second time we stay in Annie and Anja place - one of the best location in town, very clean, with great staff helping and very nicely decorated with lots of attention for details. If you practice yoga or not - probably one of the best places to stay in Colombo. will come again for sure :-)

We stayed here for two nights to unwind before travelling home, after four weeks of travelling in Sri Lanka. We were looking for something a bit different where we could eat onsite mostly and relax. The place is charming and beautifully restored and our room very comfortable. We were told the cafe was under renovation so not available, and this meant our only option was to go out. Given the location on a very busy road it was not a pleasant experience to go out walking with very few eating options available and certainly nothing very appealing. It certainly impacted on our stay. We also found the place rather noisy due to two main roads very close and a dance party one night till 4am. This of course is not something the owners can change.
