The hotel faces the ocean and receives ocean breeze in eating and swimming areas. Rooms are large with high ceilings. Comprehensive breakfast. Attentive staff. Has an interesting museum of photos and artifacts pertaining to the hotel's past, including Prince Phillip's first car.

Considering that this is a 5-star hotel with a history, the food was not as pricey as I expected it to be. Dinner at Sea Spray, the restaurant next to the sea, was about USD 35 per head (for a 3 course meal), and you can top it up with the drinks cost. There are other less expensive options (and good food) in a radius of 10-15 mins walk.
