Stayed here twice in October of 2016. Despite the Lonely Planet claiming that the rooms had been renovated, neither room was. Entry from a dark hallway was to a slightly run-down room, nice size bathroom, old TV, comfortable bed. Breakfast in the breakfast room was very good - lots of variety. It's close to some of the major tourist sites,...

I stayed here when I was on a group tour with G Adventures, so I do not really know how much this hotel cost if you book it as independent travelers. I think G Adventures chose this place maybe mainly for its central and very convenient location and its very old-world, Soviet style ambience. The hotel itself is a bit...

Rooms are of varying size; if you are unlucky, your room will be so small you'll have to move the furniture around just to be able to open your suitcase. Found a cockroach on the wall; I turned away to find something to hit it with, but it had disappeared by the time I turned back. The bed is comfortable...

We travelled as group from India & stayed in hotel Uzbekistan from 17/10/16 to 21/10/16. No electric cattle & arrangements to make tea in the room was provided. They refused even to provide electric cattle since few members wanted warm water to drink. No water bottle was kept during room cleaning as is the norm worldwide. In the evening water...

Hotel convenient to centre of town and within easy walking distance of many parks. Staff friendly and opened restaurant for the basic breakfast an hour early so we could have our breakfast before early departure (porridge was excellent). Rooms were smallish but a little on the grotty side. Cigarettes littered the outside facade structure which really detracted from what would...

It is a tourist's Hotel. Most centrally placed hotel in Tashkent. Convenient for all tourist activities. It is not a Luxury hotel. 24x7 cafe / store. Good big rooms with only primary essentials. Good breakfast & food. Good house keeping. Air-conditioning ( Hot / Cold ) is not so great or some times not working. English speaking staff at front...

The location of this hotel is really good, right in front of the Aamir Timur Square, the building is quiet old, no doubt the rooms were large and hygienic but the service sometimes was not good, i ordered a tea in my room and it was cold

We visited Tashkent as part of an organised group tour through Explore. We stayed an extra day at the beginning and at the end. The first room we stayed in on the first two nights was ok. It was boiling (from about 15 degree in the UK to over 30 degrees) and the air conditioning was abysmal. I did not...

So, the hotel has a perfect location, The rooms are very large and perfectly furnished. However... Everything feels like they're stack when the hotel was built, even in management. The air conditioning wasn't working properly at all. The wifi was slow. The hot water was cold. Now, I've been there twice during my holyday in Uzbekistan, in two different rooms,...

It's an impressive building in very central location. The rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. The furniture is a bit old but it is all very clean. There's free and fast wifi in the rooms. Didn't have time for breakfast so cannot comment on that.
