The hotel is new, modern and conveniently located to Taksim Square and other tourist attractions. There are several dining locations nearby and the hotel has a nice restaurant with a view of the water.

Right beside Taksim square and Gezi park, it has easy access to restaurants& bars, subway station and funicular to sea-side area. Bosphorus at night out of the window is something you cannot help staring at. Room was clean and comfortable. Fitness room was a bit too small.

We came as platinum ambassador SPG guests and got upgraded to their junior suite, the room was comfortable, amazing view but slightly on the smaller side, the check in was effortless and the welcome was warm. I recommend this for a central / taksim location.

Having corresponded with both Ahmet & Adem from the hotel over a number of months, my stay did not disappoint. From the moment I entered the hotel the service was amazing. My room had wonderful views of the Bosphorus and a complimentary birthday cake arrived on both days of my stay. The service and staff were exceptional in every way...

It is the staff that make this hotel absolutely outstanding. Every single member of staff certainly goes out of their way to make sure that their guests are completely satisfied and very well looked after at this lovely hotel. We were delighted with the proximity to Taksim square and Istiklal Avenue and preferred this area to the very touristy Sultanehmet...

Spent 6 days at the Gezi Hotel and loved every moment. The hotel is literally a few steps from the Taksim Square and therefore perfectly located. I stayed in the lower floors of the hotel but saw the rooms that are higher up in the building which have an amazing view either of the park or the Bosphorus. The highlight...

I spent a night during Christmas Day on Dec 2015. The Bosphorus view room is perfect, from comfy bed until bathroom. I really love the view is worth for spending a little more. All hotel staff are friendly and kind. The most I love is Italian restaurant on ground floor. I had a meal there twice. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is quite small, although with a lot of floors. It is very centrally located right next to Taksim Square. Staff is very nice and comforting. The standard room I was staying in was very Design Hotel like with an amazing shower and bathroom and a big cosy bed. Nothing was missing and I really enjoyed my time there....

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
