I had been staying at another hostel during the first 3 days of my 6 days visit, and I must say, it was heaven! Even though I stayed in the mixed dorm, each bunk has its privacy respected. Curtains run in...

Best service, friendly stuff, really clean, good Wifi, perfect location and a really nice rooftop with a lot of young and international people! It's 5 min far away from Hagia Sofia and the blue mosque. 10 min far away for the grand market. And what you should do is go to the modern art museum!

Nice hostel, great location and cheap price. Stayed in the dorm room which was comfortable and quiet, all the beds had a curtain for privacy. Breakfast is included and tea during the day is complementary, there is also a roof top terrace with a nice view. Just a 10 minute walk to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque with lots...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

“Choose a room on the first or second floor. Hotel has no lift and many stairs to the other floors. The staircase is narrow so if you have lots of luggage stay on a lower floor. It's no fun trying to log bags up those stairs.”
