I will not say anything different from other reviewers as this place deserve such a good ratings. What makes good about this lovely hotel is its staff, specially Fatih and Ilknur who are doing their job professionally with their perfect English. Breakfast is very delicious! Mrs. Fadime was always there with her lovely smile! We could also use the roof...

What more can I say that hasn't already been said about this fabulous place! First of all, it's in a great location - right in Sultanahmet close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and much more. At the same time it's on a quiet street with a lovely view of the Sea of Marmara from the pleasant roof top...

We stayed at the Osmanhan last week to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was everything we'd hoped for. Fatih and the rest of the staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful; the room immaculate and bed comfortable; the breakfast delicious and rooftop terrace location absolutely beautiful. Plus, the location couldn't be any more convenient.

We stayed at this hotel five nights. Had a great time with nice stuffs, a comfortable room and delicıious breakfast. Osmanhan Hotel is close to all the sight-seeing areas. You can arrive to Aya Sofia, Topkapı Palace, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and Yerebatan in 5 minutes. We also met the owner Mustafa. He is very kind and helpful.

Our experience as the Osmanhan Hotel was great. Fatih at the front desk helped arrange our trip from the airport to the hotel. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted, given a map of the city, and given great recommendations for where to go and what to see. The room was equipped with our own air conditioners, so although the...

OK lets start with why I have not rated this lovely hotel as 5 star. There are two main reasons. 1.We had a deluxe room on the third floor, room 412. A very clean, spacious, well equipped room. The only issue with the two rooms on this floor is that they are directly below the rooftop breakfast area and because...

I can not give enough rave reviews of this hotel! My boyfriend and I were there for our anniversary and upon arrival we had a bottle of wine and a fruit plate in our room. We enjoyed the wine on the rooftop deck overlooking the Sea of Marmara. I left my cell phone in the room and the hotel forwarded...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
