This pretty little hotel is tucked away in one of the quiet little streets surrounding the Blue Mosque. Great care and attention has been paid to the interior design of the rooms, with the furnishings from an era of luxurious grandeur. The hall ways are mini museums with framed garments and hat displays from past times. There is a beautiful... More

Great Hotel, Great Staff and Great location. We stayed here for 7 nights and all I can say it felt more homely than a typical hotel which was great. Loved the decor with all the furniture and countless frames and hats!! Fantastic location with the Arasta Bazaar, Blue Mosque and waterfront literally 5 min walk if that. If you love... More

We contacted the hotel directly and reserved the larger Executive Room, over a Deluxe Room because we wanted more space for our 5 night stay in Istanbul. The room we were given did not feel like the 20 square meter as indicated on its website. We found out during our stay by peering into other rooms while being cleaned that... More

I went Istanbul for four days. The hotel is located in the lively Sultanahmet District (old town) near great restaurants and shops. The main tourist attractions area easily reachable from the hotel, including the Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica cistern and the Grand bazaar all at walking distance. The view from my room was absolutely beautiful. In the morning, I... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
