At first when reading the reviews about this hotel I felt extremely worried and anxious about staying here. I’m sure many of you are reading the reviews after booking trying to get a feel of what it’ll be like. Well the bad reviews are extremely unfair and untrue. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It has a feel of luxury, safety, and coziness that I’ve never gotten from any other hotel. It’s so affordable too! We stayed on the sixth floor in room 613, our room was amazing and had such a large spacious feel. The room was stocked with some water which we immediately put in the mini fridge, and it also had a kettle and some coffee/tea. The bed was super spacious and was comfortable. We had an extra bed in our room which turned out useful as I’d sit on it to do my makeup and keep the trinkets and gifts we bought on there! The windows are super large which is appreciated when you want natural light. Although they wouldn’t open, not even a little which sometimes made me feel suffocated because I’m used to sometimes opening a window for fresh air. There is a Samsung aircon in the room which we would use all the time, it was great! The bathroom was super large too and so was the shower, it was so nice and makes a change when most hotel bathrooms are so tiny. This wasn’t, it was large and felt luxurious. The only thing I’d say we didn’t like was the TV, just because we couldn’t ever find any English channels or movies which was disappointing, it would be cool to have some movies available to watch in different languages. We ordered room service to our room a few times and sometimes ate at the cafe/bar. (The restaurant and terrace was closed during our stay) The food was tasty, it was good for nights you didn’t want to venture out and eat somewhere. The lamb chops and the yogurtlu kebab were our favourites. Their burger + chips is also really nice. The attitude of all the staff working here is lovely, everyone makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. The room view is nice, there is a graveyard directly beside the hotel and you can see this when you look out the windows but this didn’t bother us, the hotel can’t change their location and the graves aren’t hurting anybody! This hotel was amazing and made our stay in Istanbul comfortable and cosy, I highly recommend it and we will definitely stay again when visiting Istanbul!

Bad location, no variation in breakfast, non professional reception and reservation staff, we booked two rooms with same class but were provided with different rooms. When i asked about this they said this is my reservation. I asked ahain the other day and showed them my booking they said ok we can change room to a different room with two single beds and a view to the graveyard i believe they said this so i reject which i did.

The worst thing is that i booked the rooms till august 18th and they said my booking end august 19 and they confirmed this over 10 times by reservation department and receptionist. Based on that i booked the flight at august 19. On august 16 my wife went to reception and asked again about check out date and they confirmed its 19 of august and based on that she booked massage for her and my mother to be at august 18 12:30pm.

At august 18th around 1pm one from reception cam to my room and said you are late for check out do you want to extend your stay. I said reception confirmed its 19 of august and he said you can contact them. I went to reception and they said sorry it was a mistake by your reservation company and they sent email to correct it. I cantacted reservation company and they said no mistakes were made and no correction emails sent to the hotel. The hotel did not even inform me about this correction unless check out time passed.
I asked about extending reservation 1 day and they said it will cost you 200 euro for each room which is more than the double i already paid per night. I aksed about giving me a little time to pack our luggage they gave me ultill 3pm while it was after 2pm already. Had to go to spa and asked my wife and mother to go to rooms and pack their luggage before 3pm .
I believe the hotel did all this to force me to extend my stay and pay more.

The only freindly staff were room service ladies they were very polite and smilling all the time

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone i would really advise you to avoid it and choose a hotel with better location and better management and staff.

I stayed there for few nights. Room was comfortable and food quality was really good too. However, they can really work on their services. Called up room service at 11:05 PM which closes dinner by 11:00 PM and the only thing the operator told right after picking up the call "it's closed". Ali in room service was very charming and professional though. Staff at the front desk could be more warm and courtious.

We stayed for 4 nights to celebrate my wife's birthday and booked 2 rooms as a party of 3 adults. I had informed the hotel of my wife's birthday. On checkin we were upgraded i can't remember to the type of room and they were great they organised a cake and decorated the room with baloons. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. I would add if possible to have a USB charging socket in every room. The bathroom had a rain shower which was great after a long day of siteseeing. The breakfast was served in the cafe downstairs, the menu is limited however in these Covid 19 times they were doing everything possible to offer fruit, cakes, toast, omelettes, juices, coffees and teas. The service is excellent from the front desk i can't remember the lady name but everyone had been lovely at the hotel. They check your temperature on arrival at hotel offer you hand sanitizer. For transport you can hop on in a taxi to go to the airport they charge approx 150TL and to go to Sultanhamamet to all the sites approx 50 to 60TL which is £6-7 for a 15 minute cab ride. You can get a bus from across the road just get a turkey travel card which you can get from a local shop for 10TL and load with money and use as you go. You can use it for up to 5 ppl. You can use the same card for the locsl tram and trains. The hotel is good value for money and i would stay here if and when am back to Istanbul city.

Stayed here for 2 days. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Turkey and hotel really made our stay amazing.

On arrival room was prepared nicely, with flower petals on the bed, balloons on the floor and some nice desserts on the table.

Room was spacious and clean. With nice view.All toiletries properly wrapped for each individual, bathroom is very clean same as rest of hotel.

Breakfast was good, only could have more attention to table cleaning during breakfast as was quite difficult to get ready table. But maybe due to Covid they have reduced amount of staff working...

Location was not bad, taxi available just across the road.

Was very happy with surprise from hotel on arrival, so thanks to the team who arranged this. All was done properly and desserts were very tasty.

Visited Double Tree by Hilton in October and i would not suggest it as an option for touristS. The hotel is very far from the city centre so the only way to get to it is bus(which i waste all my holiday spent on the bus due to traffic, not hotels fault)

Most of the staff in the hotel spoke no English and the rest very limited and it was very difficult to understand them . You dont expect this for a hotel like this with the Hilton brand. when i complained about it Hilton replied that i was in turkey and it not there language. I dont accept them to speak fluently and i understand its there native language but at least for positions coming with contact with guest they should speak basic English.

We arrived at the hotel, very friendly greeting , gave us a very nice room high floor as we requested.. When we got back at night we realised that we had only one tower in the room and no slippers at all.. We did not complained because mistakes happen.

Breakfast for very nice with big variety and friendly staff at the breakfast. Its worth paying for breakfast

The next day we asked the lady in the lobby how to get to the city and she told us that only one bus goes pass the hotel to the centre however it was not the only one going from the hotel.. We also asked her if there is a tram or a metro and she said tno. When we asked her more basic questions she said she is not from the area and she doesn't know much.

Same night we ask reception again if there is an another way to get to the centre because buses where not running at night due to bank holiday so they said there is a metro near and they said to walk through the cemetery, so when my mother asked it is safe? they replied no its very dangerous( so WHY would you recommend something like this to two ladies. Guest trust the hotel !!!!! ).Be aware and dont trust them, they dont care about the guest, they just care to leave from reception.

After this they called us a taxi to take us to the nearest metro station which was not far and the receptionist explained and showed the taxi driver on the map which metro station to take us. The taxi driver which the hotel cooperates took us to another metro station far away of what we where expecting of going, and it was the last one on the line, so we tried to explain to him its not the place however he spoke no English at all and force us to get down with an aggressive way.(the hotel refund us for this)... When i complained about this they said its not the hotel fault again.. But why would you corporate with a taxi driver that its not worth trusty and not speaking English at all when you have guest from all over the world.

I im very disappointed for my stay, i did not enjoy the holiday, and this hotel has only the name Hilton, it does not offer the services i was expecting and i lost the trust i had for the brand. Think about it before you book. Dont get to the trap that it is a beautiful building.

The reception staff at the hotel is one of the best employees, dealing with kindness and great help. At the beginning, Mr. Samih welcomes you with his beautiful smile and gives you positive energy. Security workers ( Regep and Tuncany welcome and sterilize with love and pleasure Breakfast was nice and full of service by young Ahmed. Swimming pool and gym make reservations and enjoy swimming

· Nigth room servcie request ony cash paiement and not accept room credit. if you don't wish to pay cash, you do not recieved your order.
Laundry, need to expect 3 days delay, even if precise that you wish items to be fold your will received then on hanger;
coffee capsule and water are not deliver everyday. Reception will take note of the request, byt no qction will follow;
Sunday my room was not cleanned. I had to cmplan when bqck in hotel at 7 PM
Very difficutl to find avalaible table for breakfast,
So table are not cleanned or desinfected between two client. a bit scary durin COVID

I can honestly say to all travelers this place is a bad punch line in a crappy movie , i mean they wrote a room with a sea view and there was no sea anywhere near this god forsaken hell hole.
The staff were rude and didnt bother to speak to us in english and the rooms were disgusting. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and the toilet was you bad
Called several of times to have them clean it but they kept sending a guy who didnt understand a word i said and will always say later later
Then i kept calling them for water and tissue but none came up to the room I had booked for 3 nights but ended up leaving the next day cause my kids were frightened from the cemeteries surrounding the hotel

They cancelled my confirmed Hotels.com booking and tried to resell the room at a higher rate. Despite me calling the same morning confirmed my checking in time and I was told everything was okay. I booked a rate of 45Euros per night and they when I arrived for check in they tried to charge me 80 euros per night plus Tax telling me that my booking was cancelled??? I asked to speak with a manager was told the manager left :) Even Hotels.com were very angry at the hotel because it was still showing confirmed at their end. If you are going to book from this hotel be aware they will cancel your booking if you used a third party and they will demand you to pay higher rates. A formal complaint has been sent to Hotels.com and Hilton Hotels regarding this hotel and employee named Altan.
