Very small rooms, without good windows. Food is excellent and the restaurant is situated at the last floor with good terrace and acceptable view. Overall this is a budged hotel with no extras, but you will be out all day in Istanbul :) and you will not loose anything if you stay there.

I was there for 9 days. First they gave a room that was so small even for a solo staying. Me and my partner only liked the breakfast food. Otherwise it was really boring hotel. The cleaner threw away a big bag full of gifts of ours. Without giving apologies to us. Even they didn't give us the money back....

Oh Grand Unal... you were an experience! Right, it's probably best to give some background, since there is a culture difference between UK/US and Istanbul: 1. 4 star Istanbul is about 2-3 star in UK/US 2. The culture doesn't change from outside the hotel to inside it (bartering, negotiation, formality etc.) 3. All hotels obey these rules - so any...

The location is awful and noisy, though it is central but I would classify it as rough. The staff literally can't speak english and communication was very poor. We had two rooms as there was 5 of us and room service wouldn't clean our room in the morning it was mostly in the afternoon. They wouldn't provide us with new...

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It is well situated near Yenikapi Metro station, bus station as well as Tramway station but the rooms are too small. I presume anyone has to book for a room with more beds to feel a bit relaxed. Facilities are good in spite of one traveler said otherwise. I did not understand...

They discounted the rate from my visa before my arrival- when I arrived afternoon, the receptionist checked the computer and said they do not have a reservation under my name. when I show him the printed reservation from booking, he gave me the room. he was so arrogant , no...

First of all, the location of this hotel is great, it is located near to a metro station, a bus stop, not so far tramway stop, several different restaurants and it's in a quiet neighborhood for Istanbul. The management demonstrate full commitment to provide the guests with all facilities for rest and comfort. Wireless Internet connection was excellent. The hotel...

“Rooms on the south side are quieter”

“Room from the street side are far too noisy. It's almost impossible to sleep normally. Better ask for rooms to the back side. The view is bad, but you'll sleep better. Also if you need single accommodation - ask and pay for double single use, not just single room becase there are few of them between the floors and they are very tiny, like doll house. Just small bathroom and mini-bed. When you put your suitcase in it there is no space for you.”
