I am afraid we did not stay at the Cihangir one but the upmarket Nisantasi. I could not find it on this site so added their web page below. The photos on their site seem to be taken when they were first done up and since then no cleaning or maintenance been done. It also does not say that you...

We originally booked into a deluxe apartment for 8 nights, but on arrival found we were in the ground floor classic apartment for which we were expected to be thankful. We were on the ground floor apartment and while it was relatively comfortable and clean, it lacked even one ounce of charm. The apartment was extremely bare bones with virtually no decor or anything other than the basic furniture needed. The owners also own several other properties and a restaurant right on the main shopping street. They do offer a...

We stayed three nights in the first floor apartment of this block. The apartment was in good condition, clean and tidy. The two double bedrooms are on the small side (can only get in and out on one side) but otherwise fine. The kitchen is small but has everything you need for a short stay. The towels, sheets etc were...
