Recently, our stay in Istanbul involved having a good location in old town so we could visit the sites and also get around Turkey. The manager Yaseen was so accommodating and helpful to enable us to have a great vacation and see the wonders that Turkey has to offer. Our room was excellent while the breakfast every morning was delicious...

Location is a plus for this hotel about 10 minutes walk to Blue mosque. Hotel is fairly clean. The location of our room was under ground floor with a dangerous steps to get into it. There was a very small window with no natural lighting. Room was cold and it took few hours for staff to fix it. They didn't...

I arrived at this hotel without reservation (it had never happened in my life). The competence and kindness of the staff and the manager were something unforgettable, because I found the Magnificent because of a very bad situation. They not only solved my problem, but they made me feel home, safe. They gave me a beautiful room at a very...

Great valued hotel that has been recently updated in the old part of Istanbul in Sultanahmet. Clean, big buffet style breakfast and a very nice bathroom. But what made this hotel great was the night manager Serkan. He helped plan our days and gave us some good advice and tips. Most importantly he is such a nice person. Thanks again...

We arrived pretty early, around 7am. We couldn't check-in yet which is understandable but they did hold our bags so we could explore a bit the morning before check-in time. The basement room that we had, although tiny was neat and modern. The bathroom had new and modern finishes. I do however think in order to create a bit more...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
