With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

After reading all reviews on tripadvisor I made the decision to go with the Esan hotel and it is a decision I do not regret. Location: Hotel is in a good location, on the edge of Sultanahmet area, but less than 5 minutes away from Top Kapi and Hagia Sophia. Benefit is that you

Pros: -Really nice, helpful and friendly staff. I mainly came in contact with Unur and Ceskin(sorry if I wrote these names incorrectly), and both were great. Unur actually gave me his Istanbul transport card for free! It is a small gesture, but much appreciated. Thank you Unur.

Based on good reviews we booked this hotel knowing about the wooden floors and the lack of lifts. This hardly seemed to be an issue, as we were out the whole day and were back only to sleep. The guys at the reception Cetin and Engin (regret the spelling errors) really invested a

Yes they do - email Esan's and ask them to arrange it. It is easy and simple. Esan's will give you a pick up number. The pick up person waits for you outside the door when you exit the customs area and into the Arrivals area. They wait with a sign with your pick up number. Esan's is an excellent place to stay.

Do you have connected rooms?
I don’t think they do. We stayed on the third floor and there were two rooms there in total. They weren’t connected.

Hello From Ataturk airport taking the Metro. Switching to tramway in Zeytinburnu station. And getting off on Sultanahmet tramway station. By taxi, it is around 50 - 60 TL depending on traffic. Best Regards Esans team

Three nights should be enough to see places of interest. You have plenty of Restaurants all around the hotel or in radius of 1km. So you have plenty of choice to select from. All mounments/ tram/bus/taxi service are just in walkable distance from the hotel. Opt for higher floor room to have sea views
