Poorly received and not really watched over during our visit. We were first placed in a room that we didn't reserve in the basement and then when we were placed in a better room, we had mosquitos in the room and a leak from the...More

I found the rooms to be spacious and very comfortable. The rooms were clean with lots of natural light. The bathrooms were well-equipped with plenty of hot water in the shower. Breakfast was ample with a standard variety of Mediterranean fruits, vegetables, bread, and meats....More

Nice hotel with excellent service, friendly atmosphere and perfect location (historic sights all in close distance). The breakfast was freshly prepared and the room was (although ours was located in the basement) quite large and comfortable.
We stayed at the Sutan House for 7 nights during our visit to Istanbul, and the hotel couldn't have been better. Perfect location literally one block from the Hippodrome on a very quiet back street with a 2 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and...More
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
