Our first visit to Istanbul was great but made even better by the amazing food and service at this restaurant, staff were great and nothing was a issue for them. We were made to feel at home and after travelling through Europe for 6 weeks and having very ordinary food was a relief to finally find food that was tasty...

Enjoys a perfect location in the historic Sultanahmet area of Istanbul, just a few minutes walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagi Sofiya, and surrounded by restaurants and bars. Rooms are on the small side but very well furnished and comfortable. Can be a bit of noise from the local bars at night in the front bedrooms but nothing that...

The service at Tria Elegance could not be faulted. The staff were extremely courteous, nothing was too difficult. When we arrived we were sat down and given apple tea whilst our documents were processed. Our bags were carried up the stairs for us and the breakfast offerings were fabulous but . . .! This hotel is in a very central...

stayed 3 nights in a standard room PROS: location is fantastic - walking distance to blue misque, topkapi, aya sophia. many restaurants and cafes on the road. breakfast was a good spread. it is served in tria hotel around the corner, not at elegance. the tria hotel rooftop restaurant has some really good food. enjoyed a meal there. CONS: room...

The street is full of touristy places, with near-identical menus and overpriced and unimaginative tourist food. But this is a real cut above - genuine quality. The mixed meze is a delight - yes, a couple of quid more expensive, but a whole quantum leap finer in terms of quality. If you want an overpriced waffle for breakfast, don't come...

I was at Tria Hotel thats around corner from reception and breakfast room... at first I found this odd and felt unsure, but I soon discovered the location was great since I was on my own but of an evening I could enjoy a Baileys and a chat with people at nearby restaurants, all within short walk of Tria and...

Great restaurant with delicious food. Everything tasted fresh and savory. Overall beautiful ambience The outdoor rooftop seating was perfect for the late spring/summer season. It offered a spectacular view of the sea and cityscape. Service was excellent, especially Ihsan who was very entertaining and attentive. The entire staff of the restaurant and hotel was friendly and humorous.

We booked the Tria Elegance Restaurant on the third night of a long weekend break and it was the best service, food and wine of our trip. Excellent all round and great views of the Bosphorus from the rooftop terrace along with a lovely atmosphere. Also great value compared to other terrace restaurants we visited. Worth booking as very popular.

I was sent over here from the Tria Hotel. I had a first floor room so that meant no view. As others have stated the room is small, but it was clean. I stayed here for 1 week. Breakfast is over at the Tria Hotel. This meant that you had to enter (and exit) the Tria Elegance Restaurant when you...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
