Stayed at Biz Cevahir for a last-minute weekend getaway in March and it exceeded all expectations. The hotel arranged cars to and from the airport seamlessly, let us change rooms for a very reasonable cost (we can't recommend the two terrace rooms enough, the view from ours was incredible, including both the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorous) and provided perfect...

Big room ( 114 ) with a couch and all amenities needed. Superb location close to everything you need to see. Just excellent, be back for sure. Breakfast can be improved, but my overall opinion is great.

Excellent and helpful staff. English was a slight problem but not a barrier. Nothing was a problem for the staff. The rooms are clean and modern. Get the balconies room if possible, Restaurants in the immediate area a all the same, good but not outstanding.

As we had a very early flight to take, we decided to look for a value hotel to spend the night, looking for something nice and clean. Browsing in Tripadvisor we found Biz Cevahir, which seemed a good boutique hotel, close to the other hotel we stayed (so we didn’t lose moving) and friendly. When we arrived, Check In was...

We spent 10 days at the Biz Cevahir in Sultanahmet. This hotel has a great location very near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, the tram stop and many good restaurants. In spite of the throngs of tourists a couple of blocks away this hotel is in a very quiet spot. The managerial staff could not have been more helpful....

The location isn't immediately obvious for someone who hasn't been to Istanbul. It's hidden down the street in between the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia, and around the corner from the Four Seasons hotel. Close to most of the attractions, and has a little Bazzar within 5 minutes walking distance. Ample choices of restaurants down the slope. The room itself...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
