The yield between price and quality is satisfactory. The Breakfast is very hearty and tasty, it is buffet excep Sunday. The staff is friendly. Location is good for those who are here on business and is 15 minutes walk from the historic center. It is situated right next to the tram line.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, location is good, easy access to public transport, some 10 mins walk to Grand Bazar. Free WiFi, reasonable breakfast. Nice views from the window. The sound isolation from the street was quite bad, as a result it was quite noisy at nights. Drinks during breakfast were somewhat strange, very sweet but without much...

We stayed here for a whole week while visiting Istanbul. The location is great as it's within walking distance to all the major tourist attractions (10 min to the Grand Bazaar, 20 min to Sultanahmet where the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia & Topkapi Palace is, and about an hour or so to Taksim Square). The hotel is located right in...

The hotel is modern and staff are friendly, they were a bit delayed with our check in but took us upstairs to the lounge and we had lots of apple tea. The breakfast is traditional Turkish but thats ok, there is a pharmacy and Mado just outside and a mosque directly across the road, it was a beautiful view from...

We stayed for 7 nights at The Time Hotel, we chose the hotel for its location and also its facilities. Not many hotels have an indoor swimming pool, and are within easy reach of the main sights and at such a good price. We were not disappointed and would certainly stay here again. The tram stop is just a few...

Nice and well maintained hotel.Decent bathrooms. The location is great, just 100 meters away from Aksaray Tram and metro stations, which allows you to reach all parts of Istanbul easily. A lot of shopping malls and restaurants in walking distance. Wifi quality is good and can be used on several devices at the same time. But what makes this hotel...

Very good location That is the reason we have choose this hotel in the first place, in order to have a walking distance to many of the old city interesting places ! Rooms on the back side are not so noisy, clean and OK, considering that we have used those only for sleeping in the night. Breakfast was good. Nice...

We stayed a weekend in this hotel and had a good time for the amount of time spent there The room we stayed in (207) was clean, maybe a tad on the small side but then again, if you come to istanbul to stay in your room you're missing out. Shower was powerful and hot, and towels etc all good....

Great location for city transportation although quite noisy in the day. Rooms are okay but nothing special and the beds are not very comfortable and even breakfast is typically Turkish and just ok. Overall it is an average hotel and the staff do know a bit of English but don't expect them to understand Petrarchan sonnets.

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighbourhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighbourhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
