We had such a bad experience with a hotel just around the corner, so we actually left the old hotel and check into this one at 3 AM in the morning. We were so pleased to find reception being so helpful and lovely. Room is lovely and spacious, bed is very comfortable, room serve is on spot, tasty and fast....

i read many reviews before coming so my expectations were not that high to begin with. This hotel is no longer Rixos. Now called Elysium. My feeling is that Rixos probably dropped them because not up to standards. Postives: very close to Taksim square, pool area very nice, suite size not too small, check in easy. Negatives: how to list...

The name of the hotel has changed. So in the entrance do not look for Rixos Taksim. It is Elsyium now. We stayed in the main building and our standard room was upgraded to suit for free without even asking so what can I say, it was a good start. The suit was good and spacious, air conditions were a...

its a great modern hotel at a very good price, I have been there twice, and both times I have been upgraded to a suite, so that was nice, the reception staff are superb and very helpful. The SPA I am afraid is useless and too expensive for what it offered. if the view is important for you, you must...

Great price for what you get. Construction was being conducted nearby while we stayed but we really were there to sleep. Very clean, very friendly staff. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. A few groups in our party complained that their AC was not working and the hallways were stuffy. Overall a great place to stay while in IST.

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
