It was nice. Rooms were big. The staff is very nice and is always willing to help! Breakfast is always good and fresh. Rooms are clean and the area it is in, is not bad and close to everything! My family is very picky in anything and we all loved it! If you like simple, you'll like it for sure!

Excellent hotel with brilliant service! 5 minute walk to Taksim square so very central location! Rooms were modern and breakfast was nice. We woke up late on a couple of days and breakfast was still fresh and plenty of it! Would definitely come back and definitely recommend this hotel! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Third time in faros and there will be a fourth. Excellent hotel, great and friendly staff especially from Murat and Lokman. We stayed in many hotels in taksim and this is by far the best for quality, price and service. Cozy rooms, tasty breakfeast and accessible to all attractions.

My friend and I stayed in a double room at the Faros Taksim. Location is great - near to Taksim square, metro, and many points of interest within walking distance. If you take the metro from Ataturk airport, there is only one transfer to get to the hotel - the journey is quite simple. Beds are comfortable and room size...

Great location, 5-minute walking distance to Taksim Square and to the Havabus stop as well. Staffs are very nice and helpful. I like the modern loft style decoration. Decent room but the space could be larger.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
