The hotel itself is tiny, so tiny in fact that the taxi driver had problems finding it. Its a thin, vertical strip of building with a cafe on the ground level that can easily be overlooked. Therefore, do NOT expect a grand Martı type hotel with sleek luxurious lobbies and a rooftop restaurant! The hotel offers small but cozy rooms...

The staff of the hotel are dishonest, unhelpful and even rude. The rooms are nothing as tidy and clean as they seem on the website. The smoking is allowed in the lobby, therefore it finds the way in the rooms as well. The cigaret smell is so intense in the rooms that can stop you from being able to sleep,...

The whole building stinks of tobacco smoke from the ground floor lounge where smoking was allowed. The smoke smell traveled via the staircase and lift shaft, I specifically asked for a non smoking hotel and room. Staff were indifferent, some were rude and attempts to reason with them, so we could move to a different hotel were met with refusal...

I booked two nights in this hotel. Before my arrival, they said that price booked on website is not correct and you should pay higher price. I found this non professional and they didn't stick to their committment in the booking. More over, they didn't even send an apologize. they said you pay the requested price or cancel your booking....

This hotel is a little bit far out of the centre for what we wanted to do. Traffic noise was non-stop. Our double room was very cramped with an unnecessary large desk taking up half the space. Bathroom was nice, but the shower didn't drain. There was a lovely cafe/patisserie underneath the hotel, and we didn't use the spa so...

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
