It's definitely one of the most efficient operations I've ever seen in my life. The hotel is run by a brother and a sister, both college students assisted by one Armenian lady and sometimes, their mother.

We were looking for a budget accommodation and the Marmara Konak was a perfect choice.

The location in the old city was very quaint and superb. Very close to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and able to walk to all major places of interest or to nearby trams if you want to use public transport. The staff were very accommodating...More
The Marmara is located in Sultanahmet, within a stone's throw of the major sights - Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque (as well as other major mosques), Grand Bazaar and many of the major museums are within easy walking distance. It's great for a first-time visit.

With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
I was not interested with tripadvisor because i do not like it, but recently i add some photos for people to see on this web site. We are serving since those days. You can book via booking. Best,

"Ask for the sea view rooms. Don't plan to stay in as a large group, it's a tiny hotel."
