With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

I recent had the pleasure of staying at the hotel. I stayed 3 nights and picked the hotel for its location and other reviews I had read. I was not disappointed. The hotel is located in the Old Town very near "The Blue Mosque" in fact you can see the Mosque from the Rooftop

This is a fantastic hotel and I would struggle to find anything bad to say about it. Its a boutique hotel so don't expect 5* amenities. For what is it though, you couldn't ask for more. The location is perfect - right next to all the major attractions in the old town. The staff

We left the hotel with very contradictory feelings; most probably, in the end the negatives weighted more than the positives: Positives: - location, close to main tourist attractions (yet, proximity to the Blue Mosque meant that we felt the muezzin calling for prayer early in

We stayed here for a week with a toddler. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance to all the sights (Ayasofya, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar). We hardly used taxis or public transport as it was so convenient to walk. The rooms are clean, comfortable

Great boutique hotel in a perfect location for all the main sites. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Overlooks the Blue Mosque from the roof terrace. If your budget allows choose a deluxe room for the extra space. If I was ever in Istanbul I'd stay here again.

In fact even end of August was a bit windy. But if I remember properly they have blankets/heaters. The view is super nice but to be honest it's not a rooftop bar per se. More like a glorified terrace where you can have a coffee or drink when you come back from your visit and take great pictures of the city. But overall, I really recommend the hotel, pretty, convenient and super cool & young staff.

One of the best things about a hotel in Turkey is that the staff organise anything you require. Transport is thus very easy for tourists unfamiliar with the city.

We paid €35 for the transfer not per person to and from Ataturk (IST) and that was arranged by the hotel. It worked out great!
