We had stayed there for 5 nights. The location of this hotel same as the other one's in Taksim sq. is great. Easily reach to metro and bus station . infront of the hotel there is a night club which is nice. Very good wifi in each floor. nice staff and friendly with good breakfast. but the rooms were small.

I arrived early at to hotel nearly 7 am, and I was told the check-in won't be before 2 pm, which is logical as per the rules but the receptionist didn't even care what I can do in this time, didn't give any tips, didn't even offer me to wait in the lobby, he just informed that I had to...

Room service was so bad and the cleaners and stuff was impolite. Just its area is good because of accessing to metro and busses and istiklal street . Breakfast wasn't good . This hotel is suitable for business travel and not staying more than 3 days .

I've visited this hotel twice before. Each time it was downgraded in comparison to the last time. And now my third time here. I keep coming back because of the price and location. I hate it when the guy carrying your suitcases openly asks for a tip as if you are going to run away!! Breakfast getting limited each time....

I had heard a lot about this hotel, but it wasn't a good one, they didn't even change the linens during our stay, service was very bad, they charged us even for the boiler in our room, room was sooooo small, but breakfast was acceptable, and has a very good access to taksim square.

I had a constant droning sound in my room. First the personel told me it must be the air conditioning and I should just switch it off (bad joke with temperatures above thirty-five degrees Celsius ) Then they admitted the sound is coming from the neighbour room. So, I should contact the people next to me and ask them to...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
