The Ayasofya Hotel offers a unique blend of history and comfort, making it a wonderful choice for those who want to experience the charm of Istanbul. The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short walk from iconic landmarks such as the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar, allowing guests to easily explore the city’s rich cultural heritage.

The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, with traditional Turkish decor that adds a touch of authenticity. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home, providing excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions.

The breakfast served is a highlight, featuring a variety of fresh and delicious options that cater to different tastes. The terrace also offers a lovely view of the surrounding historic district, adding to the overall experience.

While some rooms may be on the smaller side due to the nature of the historic building, the charm and atmosphere more than make up for it. Overall, Ayasofya Hotel provides a warm, welcoming, and unforgettable stay in the heart of Istanbul.

Such a lovely experience, based in Sultanehmet area within 10 minute walking area to Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia it was an ideal location and fantastic hotel.
Breakfast was included - a small but hearty selection with regular refills and friendly staff meeting your needs.
We were upgraded to a larger room. The sheets were smooth. Radiator in the room worked wonderfully. Despite it being January and slightly colder the hotel room remained very warm. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels provided.
Many restaurants within walking distance and Tram within 10 minutes also.
All staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. Contacted the hotel beforehand and they answered all questions. We were able to leave our luggage with them on our last day also.
No safety deposit box in room. However complimentary shower gel, shampoo and soap. Tea and coffee facilities in the room, as well as a bottle of water
Passports/ID are needed at TopKapi Museum as deposit for their audio guides. Unsure if other museums did similar, however we preferred to keep ours on hand for these scenarios.
WiFi’s amazing no complaints very fast and quick service.

We were pleased with the cleanliness and layout of the rooms, the delicious food from the restaurant, and the fresh produce especially in the morning breakfast. The hotel provides modern comfort in its historic atmosphere, making it stand out from the rest. Highly recommended for those seeking a place to stay in Istanbul!

Of many hotel options in Istanbul, choosing this hotel was definitely one of the most accurate decisions we made. The location is excellent, just steps from historic sites like Ayasofya, Sultanahmet Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. It''s an ideal hotel for those seeking a cultural excursion and those seeking close proximity to the city center.

The housekeeping was excellent and everything was spotless and tidy. Our room was served regularly every day and clean sheets and towels were always available. Our room was quite spacious and spacious, and it was incredibly enjoyable to start your day with a great city view. The bed was very comfortable, rested each morning and woke up active.

The staff was one of the strongest parts of the hotel. All the employees were friendly, helpful, and very professional in their work. Especially the friends at the front desk patiently answered any questions and helped us tour the city. It’s truly amazing that they highlight customer satisfaction so much at a hotel. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious. It was amazing to start your day with fresh, thoughtfully prepared meals each morning.

We’ve visited Istanbul many times for both business and leisure purposes, but this is our favorite hotel. With both comfort, quality of service, and location, it all exceeded our expectations. A stay at such a hotel in the heart of Istanbul is truly a privilege. Highly recommended by anyone

We’re thrilled to find a place to stay in such a great hotel on the historic peninsula of Istanbul. It''s just a few minutes'' walk from iconic historical artifacts like Ayasofya and Sultanahmet Mosque. Set in such a historic atmosphere, it blends with modern touches and offers its guests a blend of both history and comfort.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable and our room was spotlessly clean. The hotel''s staff is truly attentive to cleaning. Our room was tidy every morning and everything was left immaculately clean. These details have made our stay even more comfortable.

The breakfast was another great one. Both local and international flavors are served, and all the food is quite fresh. Especially having breakfast on the hotel terrace was amazing to start your day with a view of Istanbul. We were also very pleased with other services the hotel has to offer. Our time at the spa and wellness area made our vacation even more enjoyable.

The staff were the hotel’s twinkling star. They were attentive, polite, and very professional. They tried to resolve any issues immediately and helped us a lot. When planning our vacation, we dined at great restaurants with their recommendations and discovered the city’s best spots. This hotel is a place we will definitely stay again when we return to Istanbul. If you''re in a touch of history and seeking a luxurious stay, this is the place to be!

A stay at this hotel made me feel at home. Everything was so tidy and organized that I had no problem. From the moment we entered the hotel, the warm welcome from the staff showed how much they cared about us. From reception to our room, everything was complete.

The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were exactly what we wanted. Our room was cleaned regularly every day, and everything we needed was complete. Plus, the quiet throughout the hotel, despite the busy pace in town, gave us a peaceful stay.

Breakfast service was fantastic. The breakfast buffet made daily with fresh, high-quality products gave me the perfect start to my day. In addition to Turkish cuisine, there were international options, which was satisfying in terms of variety.

The staff were always friendly and helpful. When we asked about Istanbul’s attractions, they immediately gave us detailed information and recommended great restaurants. The hotel''s location is quite central too. Historic sights like Sultanahmet and Ayasofya were a big bonus on foot. For those who want a relaxed and peaceful vacation in Istanbul, I highly recommend this hotel.

A very nice hotel with a wonderful staff. The location of the hotel is excellent, we are able to walk to the main attractions with all ease. The only thing I didn't really like is that the room was pretty old with a very old mattress and a mini bathroom. I think a remodel of room 406 would be very positive.
