This hotel is the best in Turkey. Unbeatable location, safe and clean. Staff were very kind, especially the person in the reception (Özgür), who always helped us in everything. If we return to Istanbul... we'll choose Saba hotel again!!!

Had an excellent stay at the Saba hotel...very friendly and efficient staff who were great. Breakfast was a treat with the even better view as the sun came up. Highly recommended to any one who might be considering at stay in Istanbul esp in the Sultanahmet district.

The hotel was not very special and the staff were not extraordinary, they weren't bad but good enough. The roof terras however was extraordinary, beautifull view of the blue mosque and a great place to relax in the evening, very calm and peaceful.

Blue mosque, hagia sofia, topkapi, basillica cistern, hamam, tram station, everything is at the doorstep. Rooms are great. Centralised heater only on at 7pm. But not a real problem if you only in the room for sleeping from 9 till morning. Susan and the night guy is very polite and helpful

I stayed here with my friends for three nights in December. Hotel was located at small quiet street near Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. View from the fourth floor was amazing! We had rooms with balcony. Rooms were nice and there was enough space even for three people. Rooms were also cleaned every day. Staff was also very friendly and...

Clean rooms, reasonable price a nice family hotel much recommended. Very close to blue mosque and other excitements. Breakfast included. Very nice view of SultanAhmet Mosque and sea view. We felt very secure and safe as it has 24hrs reception and doors gets locked at night from inside by the staff.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
