We have just stayed in Mega residence in Nişantaşı and I can't say enough about the comfort and size of the room. Everything was wonderful. The Staff were excellent from the moment we stepped out of our taxi to the moment we left. Very friendly service and attentive to all our needs. Even bringing us a turkish coffee while we...

Situated in one of Istanbul's finest neighbourhoods with mega world brands around it, cute cafes and lovely green corners, it offers the perfect starting point of a busy day in the city. Staff is great and kind like in most hotels in the city and the rooms totally up to date and ready to offer the peace, quiet and rest...

The only real downside was a cigarette smell on my first night, happily and quickly solved. Staff was efficient and helpful for bookings (restaurants, hammam). I enjoyed the buffet breakfast (cheeses, pomegranate, olives, honeycomb...). Connection: tram to Sultanhammet is 10-15 min downhill. Metro osmanbey is 10 min walk across Nisantasi. Taksim square is 15 min walk if need be. Hilton...

The hotel is quiet next to a special area of the city. The comfort is excellent, the staff very friendly. Great experience to stay, even overnight. Restaurant is inhouse, you have Wifi and Business-Center what you need. Breakfast is also multiple choice and pretty enough. The rooms are with every modern comfort you wish. Very good experience at all .an

Higher end hotel for a good price of about $185 a night. My daughter and I stayed 7 nights and the room was comfy, a nice gym, close to restaurants but a distance from bus and tram. Near popular high end stores and restaurants. ..big night life!

while I agree with main features mentioned in other reviews, the rooms are overpriced for what the hotel offers! the hotel is in need of refurbishment and the bedding etc have been well used! the staff are friendly but not flexible regarding longer stays at more reasonable price. this confirms the impression that they target business clients just staying for...

I recently got married and most of our overseas guests stayed at the Mega. We had a total of 10 rooms. Every one of our guests was extremely satisfied with the hotel and its services. As hosts of the event, we were also treated like family -- warmly, respectfully and efficiently. All of our requests were honored. Mega is a...

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
