I have to say I have stayed in a number of apartments in Istanbul and by far this is the best . The location was perfect for great shopping , eateries , historical sites and great bars . I usually stay on Istiklal st. this is only a short walk away and you will avoid all the noise . The...

This is an excellent alternative to a hotel. No frills accommodation at an excellent price and location. Loads of stylish bars and restaurants around and a great location to explore the city. The rooms are modern, clean, spacious and with all the amenities you need for a city break. Wifi and AC work great. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 4 nights May 16-20. This is not a hotel, more of a small suite with access to a kitchen down the hall. Room was spacious. The location is excellent, 100 meters from the Metro and 2 minutes walk to Istaklil Street. Located on the same street as other nice hotels so it is a very safe area....

Stayed here with my family and initially thought it was a nice place, but we were quickly proven wrong. The rooms stink like sewer gas, no hot water in shower, and you have to go outside and down a couple doors if you need something. The guy who owns the place seems nice and tells you to contact him for...

Over priced with horrible service. No room cleaning, soap, elevator, wifi...and shower doesn't drain. Offered by Ansen Suites as a local option since they were full and we paid them. Too bad because Ansen Suites next door where we have stayed before was pricey but met the basic standards. The access required three keys and noise at night was terrible.

Thank Tom V

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
